Dean stood in the shower, his broken wrist wrapped tightly in a plastic bag to keep it dry. He had both his arms out in front of him on the wall, as he leaned under the spray of the water, his head hung low, and his eyes closed, letting the hot water ease his sore muscles. He sighed shakily, as he began to wash himself, his mind not letting him forget that Nikki's baby wasn't his, his mind turned against him and cruelly mocked him about it. He was relieved that the baby wasn't his, but at the same time, he was a little sad that it wasn't, this had been his chance to be the father he had never had. He finished his shower and got out, he dried himself off and got dressed, his whole body felt heavy, felt...tired. He was tired of being a loser, tired of being a damn failure, he just wanted something, one damn thing, that was his and he could be proud of.

He sighed again, before he left the bathroom and returned to his room, to find Seth sitting on his bed, his back to the door as he did his homework, he didn't notice Dean. He stood there silently watching him work and he couldn't help, but wonder if he and Seth stood a chance now that everything had come out? Of course, just because the baby wasn't his, didn't change the fact that Dean had cheated on Seth. He ran his good hand over his face, just as Seth finally noticed him.

 "Hey, how was your shower?"

"Good." Dean answered, as he sat down in his desk chair facing Seth.

"You want to talk?" Seth asked, as he packed up his stuff.

"Nah, it...it's okay." Dean answered sighing.

"Dean, I'm so sorry this happened to you." Seth said gently. "I've always known that Cena and your other idiot friends were assholes, and now the whole school knows too."

"Yeah." Dean agreed laughing a little.

"That's not the only thing bothering you, is it?" Seth asked.

"No." Dean replied. "And, no, Seth, I don't want to talk about it." He added firmly.

 "Dean, I..."

"I said I don't want to talk about it, dammit!" Dean said, cutting Seth off.

"Okay, I'm sorry." Seth said quietly.

"Dammit, I'm sorry." Dean said sighing, feeling like an ass for snapping at him.

Before either of them could say or do anything else, Roman came upstairs carrying both his and Dean's backpack and the two large pizzas. He came into the room and Seth quickly got up and grabbed the pizzas from him.

"You get a job delivering pizzas, big man?" Dean teased, as Roman gave him his backpack.

"Nope, I ran into the delivery guy on my way inside."

"I'll go grab plates and drinks." Dean said, as he stood up and left.

"Did I miss something?" Roman asked.

"Uh, no, why?" Seth asked confused.

 "Dean's wearing his guilty face."

 "His what?" Seth asked smiling.

"His face he wears when he feels guilty for losing his shit." Roman explained.

"It's nothing, really." Seth replied sighing. "Just me not knowing how to stop pushing when someone doesn't want to talk about something."

 "You sure?"

"Yeah, we're good, I promise." Seth reassured him smiling.

"I'm back." Dean announced, as he returned to the room.

"You guys want to watch a movie while we eat?" Roman asked.

"Sure." Dean and Seth said together.

"I'll go grab my laptop." Roman said smiling, as he left the room.
