Three days later:

'I missed you so much.' Sammy came towards me and hugged me.

'I missed you too sammy.' I said lifting her in my arms.

'Do you know, my school will start soon. I will also go to school like you all'. She said as she began playing with my bracelet.

'I thought you'd miss the auction. Thank god you have come.' Vi said hugging shrey.

'I know you want him in your team.' Ro said slyly.

'I'd be so happy if that happens. But I just want him to get the best.' Vi said.

'Welcome back my kiddo.' Mahi bhai said ruffling my hair.

'Did you just call me your kiddo?' I couldn't believe my ears.

'Don't get over excited. That's what he calls everyone.' Harry said.

'Oh, harry. You really didn't have to add that, you know.' I said disappointedly.

'Don't pay heed to him. He keeps talking brainlessly. ' Mahi bhai said.

'Did you just call your favourite kiddo, brainless?' Harry asked dramatically.

'I am his favourite. Not you'. Vi said.

'We all know he loves me the most.' Rishu said.

'They are bidding for me.' Shikhar yelled from inside getting everyone's attention.

'It has started. Get in fast.' Ro said.

Everyone has rushed inside fast and occupied their seats.

The bidding took place for a time and finally Shikhar got picked by pbks.

'We are gonna be in the same team.' Mayank was the first one to share his excitement by hugging Shikar.

'Congrats Shikki. You found a new home.' Ro said.

'I am sure prithvi would miss batting with you.' Rishu said.

'I'll miss our DC partnerships too.' Shrey said.

'You are soon gonna get picked by your new home.' Shikki said.

It was then the turn of Ash. He got picked by RR.

'Ash and Buttler are in the same team now.' Harry said.

'Every thing is alright between us ok?' Ash said.

'Congrats Ash.' Vi congratulated him followed by the others.

Finally it was Shrey's turn.

'Don't get tensed.' Ro calmed him as the nervousness was evident on Shrey's face.

Rcb started bidding for him at his base price two crore.

'Yess. Pick him.' Vi was quite animated.

'He's already so tensed. You keep your mouth shut.' Ro stated.

DC bid for him for 2.20 Cr. The bidding war continued between RCB and DC for Shreyas Iyer until 4.2 Cr. Then LSG joined the war by bidding for 4.4 cr. It then continued between LSG and DC until 6.25 Cr until LSG backed off and then it was KKR which started bidding.

'Oh my god. Just look at the competition Shrey.' Shardul exclaimed.

'I want you in LSG.' Rah said.

'No. He should be back at DC.' Rishu said.

'Guys look, it has gone 9.75 crore.' Ishan pointed.

'Look. GT have started bidding for him too.' Harry screamed.
