It was now the 30th of the month, and I was having to fly to LA for a recording session. My birthday was this weekend, so I was kind of upset about not being with my friends and family for it. I was actually kind of surprised my mom was allowing me to miss two days of school, since I'd be flying back on a Monday.

Harry had set up a recording session for me with some writers and producers that he and the boys work with. He didn't actually mention any names so I had no idea who.

It was five in the morning when my mom dropped me off at the airport. My dad was better now, but definitely still not one hundred percent. It'd only been two weeks. He's been in and out of the hospital a lot. The injuries he got partially paralyzed his left leg, so that was a continuous struggle. Other than that, he's healing really well.

The flight was fairly short and Harry had scheduled for a driver to pick me up to take me to his house to stay there the weekend instead of paying for a hotel. By the time I was in the house, I wanted nothing more than to crawl up in the bed and sleep. I wake up early in the mornings anyway, but waking up early and then getting on a plane made me extra tired.

There was a box that sat on the bed and I dropped my bag by the door and went over to it. The tag said my name, so I took the lid off, quite confused about why it was here and what it was. There were multiple things, but a note laid on top of it all.

'Put this on and go downstairs. It will make more sense soon, I promise. And don't peak through the rest of the box, just grab the first thing.

-Harry x'

I picked up the cloth material and closed the box, not looking like he asked. It was something with a Mickey Mouse pattern. Once I had it all laid out I saw it was a onesie. I laughed and put it on, then followed what the note said and went downstairs. On the kitchen counter, there was a large envelope. I opened it slowly, hoping not to tear whatever was inside.

Two cards fell out and I nearly dropped them. I grabbed them and looked at them really quickly.

Three Day Park Hopper - Disneyland and California Adventure

What?!

"So, those passes are valid today. You ready to go?"

I spun around and was face to face with Harry. "Oh my god!"

I ran over to him and nearly knocked him over by jumping into his arms. He broke out into laughter and wrapped his arms around me. "Miss me?"

"Yes! I mean it's only been two weeks but life is so much more fun when your around. What are you doing here? Tour starts this week!"

"It's your birthday, how could you think I wouldn't celebrate with you?"

"Well, you kinda live in England and it's also kind of your birthday. I didn't think it mattered enough for you to travel all the way here and-"

"You're very talkative today," he chuckles. "You're also talking two hundred miles a minute. Take a breath, Ave."

"Well I kind of don't stop talking when I get excited and between you being here and the Disney park passes... wait, what was the point of the onesie?"

He shrugs, "I thought it would be funny."

I smack his arm lightly and he laughs. "I'll have you know that I rock this onesie," I flip the hood up, the ears sticking up on the top.

"Yes you do," he smiles and grabs at my sides in attempt to tickle me. I squirm away before he's successful. "Now go change and we'll get going."

"Serious?"

"Yes, serious," he rolls his eyes. "I didn't buy those passes just to sit around my house all day."

I let out a little squeal and run to where my bag is in his bedroom. I pull out some shorts and a flowing tank top. I was going to wear sandals, but that was a bad idea. All I can think of is ouch. By the end of the day my feet would not have been pretty.

I slip on vans and braid my hair before I meet Harry in the living room. His house is kind of blank still, since he hasn't been here a whole lot. He stands from the couch and then pushes me back into the room.

"It's time to open the rest of the box now," he points at it and I hesitantly walk over and take the lid off again.

There's a pair of sunglasses, a pair of regular Minnie Mouse ears, a pair of Mickey Mouse ears that's a metal headband where the ears are just outlines of circles, and there's another box at the bottom. I take it out and open it, a gasp falling from my mouth. "You did not!"

He smiles. "I did, actually. I figured you would want to record while we were there and I talked to your mum to find out which one you wanted."

I look at the new vlog camera and put it aside, then wrap my arms around Harry. "Thank you. This is already the best birthday weekend ever and it's barely started."

"Harry oh my god I can't believe you did this," I squeeze his hand excitedly as we enter the park. He smiled and watched me as I looked around at all of the possible places to go. I dragged him into the first store I saw, looking at everyting with a little too much eagerness.

At the back of my mind, I felt bad that I'd haven't been able to get Harry anything yet. I'd gotten him something super small already, but I didn't want it to be the whole gift. I had an idea, but it was kind of a matter of my mom putting my money in my bank account. She was always so slow with stuff like that. I'd have to call her tonight.

We'd left the store shortly after and Harry decided he wanted a quick snack. We had to search some, but we were able to find something small. By the time we'd finished getting food, most of the rides had started to open up. I dragged Harry over to Cars Land and we grabbed a fast pass. We did some other small rides in the meantime, then got in line at the time we were supposed to.

Surprisingly, as the day went on, we weren't approached that much. We took pictures with some people and we were followed by a small group for a few hours, but other than that the day was pretty peaceful. May have something to do with the fact that Harry had his own guard and we also had a Disney cast member leading us everywhere. We ate some ridiuously good meals and went all over the park. We got our picture taken with the whole gang; Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto. I found Eeyore and freaked out a little. He's just so cute.

I vlogged a lot of the day, too. I wanted all of this on video. I didn't include Harry in any of it other than a clip or two, since I know how much he likes being private and isn't into being on camera unless he has to be.

It was just all so amazing. At this point, sometimes it feels like Harry knows me better than even Lacey does. And that's saying a lot. We learned so much about each other after spending an entire day together. There was a lot of time to talk with all of the long lines.

We were there until the park closed. We ended up walking around a little outside the park, though. Even though both of us had aching feet. We found an iHop just across the street and immediately agreed we'd go there for breakfast tomorrow. Until then, we walked a few more blocks and went to Cheesecake Factory by the garden walk. They were open for another hour and a half and neither of us had eaten dinner. After we ate our meals we got Cheesecake to go and drove back to Harrys house.

We ate our cheesecake and watched reruns of Friends in our pajamas until we both started drifting to sleep. Harry set everything that was on the bed onto the night stand and pulled the blankets over us. I snuggled up to him and his arm automatically wrapped around my waist.

"Goodnight, Ava Mae."
