@MissAvaMae: hi. i love my job but relaxing is nice, who knew?

"Babe, the tables got dropped off just now. Do you wanna wait until the day before of do you wanna set them up?" Harry asks as he walks into the room. The wedding is this weekend, only five days away. We're in Vancouver right now and we're staying here all week.

"I don't wanna do it right now," I sigh, looking over at him from where I was laid in the bed. "I don't really wanna move at all right now, to be honest. Also, it might rain tomorrow so we should wait."

He walks into the room, coming over to the bed. He crawls over to me, hovering over me slightly as he reaches down and kisses my shoulder.

"Well, do nothing while you still can I guess. Our mothers get here within the next hour or two. My mum messaged me and said they were leaving Portland about five hours ago, which means they're close."

I groan and hide my face in my pillow. "Don't remind me."

Laughter falls from his lips as he lays down next to me. I hear thumping from down the hall, then suddenly more weight is on the bed. Before I can lift my head to see which animal it is, I feel my arm being licked. Definitely Charming. I roll over onto my back, letting him crawl on top of me and lay down all cuddled against my chest. Harry scoots closer to us, looking at our pup with a smile.

"You're a dork, Charm," Harry hums.

"Just like his parents," I mumble. Harry scoffs, shoving me slightly.

"How dare you. I am the most sophisticated person ever. I am never a dork."

"Right," I nod. "You keep telling yourself that, sweetheart."

He laughs, hiding his face in my neck so he can kiss my shoulder again. A sigh falls from his lips as hand grabs mine. "Shall we take him for a walk while it's still daylight?"

"Sure," I nod. I have Charming get off of me and I hop up to grab a coat and shoes. Once we're both ready, Harry grabs the leash and gets Charm hooked up to it. He grabs my hand and we head out of the cabin, down the stairs and onto the pathway that went behind the cabin. As we walk, Harry brings my hand up to his lips and kisses my knuckles.

"I don't understand how four days in Cabo made you this tan," Harry says as he looks at my hand.

"I'm a third generation Mexican-American, so it happens," I laugh with a slight shrug of my shoulders. Just a few days ago, I was in Cabo with Gemma, Grace, Lacey, Raina, and Rachel for my "bachelorette vacation" as Lacey called it. It was four days of absolute bliss and it was incredibly fun. It's been so long since I've been able to spend that much time with any of them, let alone all of them. Also, laying in the sun was fantastic.

I figured that people would start assuming things, so I made sure that Grace and I made a video and dropped some excuse of sorts in the beginning. We made a video of us trying snacks that we had found in Mexico and Grace mentioned "we're in Mexico... because Ava wanted a vacation and apparently that meant all of her closest friends also got a vacation. Can't really complain though."

Harry and some of his friends (including the boys) did some stuff together when we were in London for a week for the Another Man launch party (still not over that magazine or the fact that he was able to hide that from me for so long - but I'm completely okay with it since it was such an awesome surprise).

After about fifteen minutes (and a mini photoshoot with Charm - required by Harry), we turn back around and start walking back to the cabin. When we reach it, there's another car parked outside.

"Oh! There you two are! I was beginning to worry that you'd gone missing," I hear my mom say. We head over to where she's standing and I separate from Harry to hug her. Harry steps forward, hugging her as well as placing a kiss on her cheek.

"Where is Anne?"

"I dropped her off at the resort on the way so she could get our things settled. I just stopped by so I could drop off Harry's tux and your dress and check in with you two. We're both quite tired, so we figured we'd come back in the morning."

"Oh, alright. Go ahead and take Charming in, H. Where is the stuff, mom?"

Harry wanders off while my mom leads me over to the passenger side backseat of her car. On the hook, there's three hangers. I assumed the other was my dress for the rehearsal dinner, which I had stupidly forgotten when Harry and I drove up here.

"And do you mind if Anne and I keep our dresses here with your fathers tux? We don't want to ruin them. They're on the other side."

"Yeah, that's totally fine. We're hanging all of them in the closet since we don't really use it."

"Hey, did my mum give you the vases for the candles along the stairs?" Harry asks as he walks down the stairs.

"She did, they're in the trunk if you want to grab them," my mom responds.

Harry takes the keys from her as she grabs the clothes from the other side of the car. My mom and I take the stuff up to the bedroom, hanging them in the closet.

"Now I know this might be difficult," my mom says quietly. "But try your dress on when he's not around. I know you tried it on after it was fitted but it's been awhile. Do one last check to make sure everything is how it's supposed to be. Anne and I can probably fix anything that could potentially be wrong."

"I will," I nod. She smiles, stepping towards me and embracing me in a hug.

"Oh Ava, I can't believe you're getting married," she sighs. "I'm so proud of who you've grown to be and I'm so happy that Harry and you have found each other. I really am so happy for you, honey."

I can tell she's starting to get choked up and I have to stop myself from laughing a little. I squeeze her tight as I reply. "Thank you momma. You've helped me more than you'll ever know. I'm so grateful to have a mom like you. Now don't cry, okay? You're not allowed to do that until the actual day of the wedding."

"Hush up, you," she chuckles. "I can cry as much as I want; my only baby is all grown up and is getting married in a few days. I have every right in the damn world to cry."

"Alright, fine. Just don't do it around me, 'cause you'll make me cry and I don't wanna cry."

She laughs again. "Honey, you've got a storm of tears coming. It'll happen, I can almost guarantee it. You'll probably wake up the day of in tears. Just you wait. I cried so much on my wedding day."

"Well, at least crying is a proven good stress reliever."
