MissAvaMae: changed out of my sweats for once. thanks to my wonderful sidekick @lavenderlacey for doing my hair and makeup and for all of my other friends for making this night so special. senior prom is in the books...graduation next!

"I just don't get the point. I mean, Prom is in a week and I don't even have a dress. Or a date. I have a ticket but that is it. And all of my friends have dates so if I go I'm just going to be the awkward extra person," I explain to Harry on FaceTime, not even looking at him since I'm putting my laundry away at the same time.

"Okay, I get what you're saying, but it's your senior prom! You have to go. You'll totally regret it later. And it's kind of your last big thing with all your friends before graduation and tour. You should really be enjoying it while you can, Ave. Trust me."

"I just don't want to go alone," I sigh and sit down in front of my laptop.

"Nobody's asked you?"

"Well, I mean, Cole has asked me like hundreds of times but he's kind of an asshole."

"Language, Miss Ava!" My dad yells from the next room over.

"It's true," I mumble. Harry laughs and sighs himself.

"I can't believe he's still trying to get back together with you. After all he did. And it's been months, you would think he'd be over it by now."

Or maybe you think that because you want to get with me.

"Well he's not and it's so annoying."

My dad walks into the room slowly. "Do I need to beat him up?"

I laugh and grab his hand as it rests on my shoulder. "No, dad. It's nothing I can't handle."

He smiles and nods at my laptop. "How are you, Harry?"

"I'm doing well, sir. How are you?"

"I'm getting around still. Glad to be back home."

"That's great to hear. And I can tell Ava is glad too."

My dad smiles down at me and kisses my head before walking out. I watch as he leaves and see him turn into the living room. Harry sighs and I turn back to him. "Something wrong?"

He shakes his head. "I guess I just... I wish I could see you, you know? It's been a long time and I miss hanging out with you. Hanging around with the boys just isn't the same. Skyping and texting with you isn't the same."

"Only another month!" I say happily. I'm nervous as ever to be performing in such big stadiums, but I'm so excited. I'm kind of nervous to be back with him too. "Meaning my album is done."

"I know. The boys posted a countdown in the back of the bus," he says with a small smile. "And that is honestly so amazing, Ava. I'm really proud of you."

"Serious? That's amazing. And thank you. I'm really-"

"Harry! We need to get you new ear pieces since you broke yours. They're waiting to fit you in the managers room," somebody says and then the door to his dressing room closes. He was in California but I had no idea where he actually was. I'm guessing they're prepping for the tour.

He sighs and looks at me sadly. "Well I have to go. Go buy a prom dress with Lacey and Rachel. If I find out you didn't go I will hunt you down," he warns.

I roll my eyes at him and lean back in my chair. "Alright. I'll talk to you later."

He smiles. "Bye, Ave."

"You look perfect and your dress isn't even on yet, what the hell Ava," Lacey sighs.

I smile as she curls the last of my hair. "All thanks to you."
