"Hey." I greeted shyly"Morning." He chuckled
It was the day after our whole situation last night. It's safe to say, I was the only one feeling nervous about it. He simply treated it as if it was another day.
I set my books down on the desk beside him and took my seat. My legs tapped on the floor nervously while waiting for the professor to arrive.
"Do you want to have dinner with me tonight?" He asked
I was a little taken back by his bold and confident demeanor as he asked. No hesitation nor a stutter over his words, unlike me.
"Like.. a date?"
He softly chuckled, "yes I'm still waiting to take you out on a date."
I grinned as I nodded in answer.
"Then I'll come pick you up, wear something nice." He winked playfully
"Alright." I softly chuckled

I smoothed my dress out as I looked at my reflection in the mirror. I was satisfied with the way I dressed even though it felt a bit strange for me. I should look nice for our first official date.
I grabbed my jacket from the hanger and waited in my living room for San to show up. But to my disappointed he had called saying that he was running late, and it'd be better for me to get there first.
I wrapped the jacket around me and checked the address of the restaurant before making my way to the bus station. It was alright with me, I mean that's how I move around anyway. But honestly with what I had on, it did feel a bit awkward.
Feeling the cold breeze hit my skin, I slightly regret wearing a dress. Maybe I should've stuck to a nice shirt and jeans. But either way, it was already late for me to decide since I had arrived at the fancy looking restaurant San had sent me to. I cleared my throat before walking in.
My eyes wandered around the building from the inside. It was dimly lit with a quiet atmosphere. The waiters and waitresses were all dressed in fancy suits making me thankful I went with a dress. The glass windows on the backside gave it that classy view of every typical high-class restaurant. Not to mention how the tables were set perfectly with the spotless white cloth covering the table legs, the shining plates in front of each seat, the silverware on the side, the wine cups on the other side, and last but not least the vase that held a bouquet of red roses right in the middle.
"Ehm." Someone beside me cleared their throat
I was brought back to reality realizing that I'd been standing in the same spot while zoned out. I looked at the waitress who simply smiled back at me.
"How may I help you?" She asked
"Oh my friend- or boyf- or- anyway there should be a reservation with the name Choi San." I answered while slightly panicking
"Let me check for you." She opened a big notebook in front of her and checked the names
She stopped when she spotted San's, "yes right here, reservation for two?" She asked
I nodded. She lead me to a table beside the windows. I couldn't help but smile at the fact, remembering our seating arrangement back at uni.
