"I hear that you're interested in marketing." The old man started

San nodded once in affirmation, "I am."

"And I'm also aware that you're going for a business degree." He added

"Yes that's true."

"So, you do know that if you work here, your life is set out for you." He raised a brow

He simply nodded before looking down.

"If you know it, then what's stopping you? I mean you're still young and yet you receive this amazing offer. You've declined this offer not once now but twice." He furrowed his brows together

"I've made my decision. I understand what you're saying but I'd like to stay here."

He sighed and placed San's resume down on the table in between them. He shook his head slightly in disappointment.

"Is something holding you back?" He asks

"I'm sorry, I don't think this job is right for me. Thank you for your interest in my work, but I don't think I'll be able to leave this place any time soon. I hope you find the right person for the job." San stood up and held his hand out

"Give me a call if you ever do change your mind." The man shook San's hand

"I'm sorry, thank you so much for showing up." San forced the corner of his lips up

The older man simply nodded before leaving.

What an opportunity gone.

"So, you gonna tell me what you're thinking so much about?" He asked

"Many things."

"Like?" He raised a brow

"I'm going to make sure I'm determined with my decision before I can talk about it."

He sighed and stopped in place making me pause along. He turned to face me and rolled his eyes so that I would see. I furrowed my brows and looked to the side before meeting his eyes again.

"What?"

"Never mind let's go." He turned around and walked ahead while shaking his head

"Idiot." I mumbled under my breath

"I heard that."

I smiled, "where are you taking me now?"

"Hurry before it's too late."

He started speed-walking making me run alongside him. Then he suddenly stopped at a bench in the middle of the park and just took a seat. I paused along with furrowed brows.

"Were we not in a hurry?" I raised a brow

"We arrived, now sit and wait." He smiled

"What is this." I looked to the direction he was facing

It looked like a big empty field. Except there were small visible holes all spread throughout.

"Sit, don't be impatient." He patted the seat next to him

I sat beside him in silence, wondering what was so special about this place. Before I could say another word, water shot through one of the holes on the ground taking me by surprise. Then more of them did. Finally, colorful lights shone from the sides painting a pretty picture with the water. It was a dancing fountain. I smiled unconsciously watching the water show ahead of me. For just a few minutes, I forgot about the stress that had been eating me up recently.
