The doorbell rang over and over again in an impatient manner as I rushed to it. I rolled my eyes with a loud groan in annoyance at whoever was behind the door. They wouldn't stop until the door was open.

"Have you got no patience?!" I swung it open

Without warning San had jumped into my arms, lifting me up and twirling me around before setting me down. The huge smile aside, anyone could easily tell he was over the moon.

"My job application was finally accepted!"

"Oh my god!" I jumped up and threw my arms around him once again

After all, it wasn't easy to get into his field. He was secretly praying day and night that it would work out, or else he would've had to move away. And that was just something neither of us wanted to think about.

He tightened his hold around me, and let out a deep sigh of relief. I thanked god for keeping him next to me. And at the same time, I prayed that he answered mine next.

"Now we just wait for mine." I forced a smile on my face

"San slow down with the drinks." I watched in a concerned manner as he took shot after shot

"I'm so happy today." He smiled warmly before gulping down another one

"I guess I'll be driving today." I whispered to myself

It was an interesting sight nonetheless. The way his behavior suddenly switches, never gets boring. But after the second bottle I had to get involved.

"C'mon one more, I'm enjoying myself." San groaned

"No thank you, we'll be going now." I thanked the waiter

"Why are you in such a hurry? Today is a day of celebration."

"You can do that at home, this is not the place." I whined back at him

"But it's a one time thing, let's enjoy it." He slurred his words

When the waiter came back with the receipt I took my wallet out, but even drunk, San wouldn't accept it.

"What are you doing?" I sighed disappointedly as I watched his failed attempt to hide my purse from me

He suddenly shot up, "I'm paying." He took his wallet out

"I don't think you're in the right mind set to do that right now." I shook my head as I reached for my bag

The poor waiter stood on the side with the same smile waiting for one of us to finish paying and go home. San placed his card out to the waiter, this time the waiter wasted no time to snatch it and go.

"Here you go, you can have this back, I took it from you." He plopped my purse right in front of him with a grin

I couldn't help but smile adoringly at the sight of San with his flushed cheeks and sleepy eyes simply grinning my way.

"Here you go, you're all set." The waiter came back with the card

"Thank you, alright San it's time to go." I stood up

"But I want to enjoy myself." He whined

"At home." I held his arm as he stood up

He removed my hand and shook his head, "I don't need you to walk me."

He took slow steps to the door, trying to be as stable as he could be.

"Slow down a bit, why don't you." I joked
