I carefully stepped in and shut the door behind me all while feeling a tad bit awkward being here without him. I set my bag down beside the door and stood in place, scanning the familiar surrounding of his apartment.

I spotted a black fancy looking gift bag sitting on the side of the sofa, seeming very out of place. With my brows furrowed out of curiosity, it was the first thing I headed to. I picked it up and scanned it from the outside, turning it left and right. There was not a single hint of what could be inside of it.

Could it be for me?

I paused halfway when my phone buzzed in my pocket. I set the gift bag down before picking my phone up hastily, secretly hoping it would be Yunho. I glanced at the name secretly before answering,

"Aren't you supposed to be off your phone?" I scolded

"I know I know, I just called to tell you that I'm going to be a bit late. My manager wants me to stay behind to finish up the rest of my work." He sighed

"How late are you going to stay?"

"I don't know, maybe an extra hour or two. I won't be any later than that I promise."

"I don't like your manager." I whined

He softly chuckled, "I know, I know."

"I'm locking the door after two hours so you better not be any later than that."

"But it's my house." He mumbled

"Two hours San, hurry get back to work."

"Got it, I'll see you soon."

He ended the call with that. I let out a loud and irritated groan, dropping my head back. Now what? What was I supposed to do for two hours straight?

My eyes darted down to the gift bag again. I returned it to its original place and walked away from it. I'll act like I didn't see it, just in case it was supposed to be a surprise.

My eyes landed on the bag that I had left next to the front door. It was filled with everything I thought I might need, I was ready for anything this time. As I walked towards it, I shyly contemplated a thought in my head.

It would be a bit weird wouldn't it? Maybe it's too soon to be getting that comfy.

I unzipped the bag and stared back at the tiny dress I had brought along with me. After all, who knows when I might need it?

I picked it up and studied it with a battle going on inside my head. I turned it around to check the back when all of a sudden the door clicked open making me completely freeze in place with my eyes wide open.

For a few seconds it had been completely silent, just two pairs of eyes staring back and forth at each other, not knowing how to react. The stupid dress that I had brought with me was held up exactly where it shouldn't be, right up to his view. I wouldn't be surprised if my face had turned completely bright red from the embarrassment. Once I registered the situation I immediately slammed it down in my bag before shoving it deep inside so it wasn't the least bit visible, as if it wasn't already too late.

San quietly walked in and shut the door behind him, but stood in that very same spot, "Surprise?"

"...aren't you here a bit early?" I cleared my throat
