"So?" I spoke as soon as Mia and Wooyoung had left through the door

"Yeah?"

"Where did you really go?" I crossed my arms and faced him

San sighed and dropped back down on the sofa. I walked to him and plopped myself right beside him, putting a comforting hand over his thigh.

He seemed to carefully choose what part of the story he would deem alright for me to hear.

"Wooyoung..had an issue at work, and I ended up being forced in the middle of it." He shrugged

But it was very obvious by his demeanor that he was lying through his teeth. I wasn't bothered by his lie, I was just curious as to what the truth was.

"Hm okay, well, let's leave Wooyoung's issues to himself and focus on us for now." I plastered a smile on my face

"Yeah, yeah of course. The issue has been dealt with anyway, no need for us to worry about anything." He slid his arm around my shoulder and pulled me in until my head was lying on his chest

"You're alright though?" I asked

"Why wouldn't I be?" He dryly chuckled

***

"Oh no."

"What is it?" I turned to him as I took off my seat belt

"I left my wallet at home." He cursed under his breath

"I don't think our parents weren't going to let us pay for anything today anyway." I chuckled

"I'd feel embarrassed if I didn't at least offer to pay for the food. You know what, I'll go grab it and come back. You go in first and let them know I won't take long." He smiled at me

"Alright then, hurry up though." I left the car and made my way to the restaurant

Tonight we were finally able to have dinner with the whole family. It took us a lot of planning to match our schedules together, so it surprised me to see Yunho just coincidently leaving the restaurant at the exact same time.

He walked out the door before I could walk in, making us both jump in surprise at the sight of one another. I was definitely going to ask him why he was here.

"You're here." He greeted

"What are you doing here?" I questioned

"Nice to see you again."

"Did you know I'd be coming here?"

"I'm here with my family Leo." He held an annoyed expression over my question,"They wanted to spend their weekend here."

"I see, then they're inside?" I raised my brows

As bad as I felt, I was secretly hoping they weren't. I didn't want any other distractions nor sudden drama during our family get-together. Today was just supposed to be us.

"No, if that's what you're worried about."

"That's not what I meant." I cleared my throat

"But I did see your parents, and I did say hello, hope you don't mind."

"Better than having to explain what happened between us, isn't it." I spoke without thinking

His gaze pierced mine for a few seconds, as if I insulted him before he looked elsewhere, "I'll be going now." He let out a deep sigh. Suddenly he stopped and turned to me, handing me a piece of paper, "I told myself I'd give you this if I saw you."

I glanced down at the paper that was now in my hands. It had a number on it, and some words under it.

'My new number, I'm here if you ever need me'
