The King looked at his prospective son-in-law, wondering what he was anticipating him to say next. "Son, I am not sure what you want me to do for you right now. I do not feel that you and I are on the same page in this situation."

"King Jong-Soo, with all due respect, what I am attempting to express is that I do not feel your son and I will make an excellent match. He and I had a discussion yesterday, and I told him that I did not approve of his meeting with this prince Jungkook as he had expected. I was straightforward and honest, but he has ignored them today, and I have been told that he met with Jungkook in public! During their encounter, it was noticed that they were close, and it was clear that their meeting was far more than just two individuals being friends.

Your son is a prince, but he is also an Omega, while I am an Alpha. Today, his actions have made me feel disrespected, and I believe that my words should be respected. If he continues to act in this manner while we are still engaged, what will happen after we are married? I am certain that you recognize my worries. I am older and more experienced, and I know what I want. I do not believe Seokjin has even the vaguest concept of his desires. Despite his age, he still exhibits evidence of being curious. If we were to be married in the next few weeks, I would expect Seokjin and myself to be on the same page. I would also expect to have children, and I do not feel Seokjin is ready to take that step.

My King, I respectfully request that you review the decision that has been taken. I have no objections to you allowing your son to make his own decision, but I object to being that decision. I believe it is most practical for me to take a step back and allow him to marry prince Jungkook, as they seem to be a more appropriate match based on what I have been informed so far. I hope you would consider these things, if not for me, then for my father. He would not want things to be this way for me.

To be respected and acknowledged, I need an Omega who will respect and accept my words. Your Seokjin does not comprehend the magnitude of what he is entering into, and he may very well wind up despising me in the future. As a result, please allow him to make a different decision and reject me in his place. Inform him that you do not believe I am a suitable match for him. Make him select someone else, anyone.

In all of my years of service to you, my King, I have never asked for anything, so please consider this one request. I guarantee that I will never bother you again with any request."

Taehyung put up his best effort to make his case to the King. He did not want to marry Seokjin, and he did not want to be paired with anybody else. He liked his life as a single man, and he hoped that his voice would be heard and that life as he knew it would continue.

Having spent just a few hours with Seokjin, he was certain that the Omega was only going to bring out the worst in him. Seokjin was unlike any Omega he had ever encountered, and everything about him offended him, from his demeanor to the pouting of his lips, all the way down to his scent. Whenever Seokjin did anything he did not like, he felt the need to lay him over his lap and give him a good smack across the back of his ass to let him realize who was in control.

Jong-Soo stood up from his seat and approached Taehyung, who took a slight step back and bowed his head to the King.

"There is no need to bow to me, son. I am coming closer so we can talk about your concerns." Jong-Soo says assuringly to Taehyung.

Standing upright, Taehyung stared at the King, "I appreciate it."

"Seokjin is a unique individual, and I am well aware of this. Nonetheless, the way his mother and I perceive him vs. the way others see him is very different, and we have both admitted as much. Many of you think of him as a brat, as a prince who cares about himself, but what you do not see are the things that his mother and I have seen.
