Nine

Jin stood in front of Taehyung, gazing at his feet; he wasn't sure what was happening, but he wasn't pleased. Something felt off, and it wasn't a good off. He took a long breath and attempted to cobble together a response to Taehyung, but he could feel his Omega battling him.

"I understand you wanted me to avoid meeting with Jungkook, and I didn't listen, but I don't believe it is a valid cause for me to have to relocate to your place. Are you willing to rethink your decision? To be candid, I don't particularly appreciate being told what to do; it would be preferable if you asked me whether I wanted to. That's why I met with Jungkook."

"Well, Seokjin, I prefer an Omega that enjoys being led and will listen to me when I instruct them. If this is a concern for you, I highly advise you to seek out another Alpha since I am not. Furthermore, I should inform you that after we are formally mated, your influence over this will diminish, and if you do not want that, please select another Alpha." Taehyung said forcefully, his gaze fixed on Jin.

Jin's lips form a pout as he shakes his head, "I'm not looking for another Alpha. I want you and what Alpha will desire of me as a result of what you have just done to me." Jin alludes to the temporary mark on his neck.

"I understand that we are different and that you like to be, I don't know a leader, but I don't need one. I already have a king as a parent; he is the leader I look up to. I'm looking for a partner, someone who will care for and adore me. Someone, not now, but I will have children with and travel extensively with in the future, and I have already determined that you are that someone.

Now that I've said that, might you accept it and allow us to sort out the rest? To begin, your apartment is much too tiny for a royal. I need elegance and comfort. My house is more comfortable, so could you perhaps consider our presence here?"

Taehyung made a step towards Jin, who suddenly took a step back, his eyes never meeting Taehyung's. "Why are you moving away from me, Seokjin?"

"You're causing me to feel anxious by being so near to me."

"I need you to choose another Alpha."

Jin immediately shook his head, "I am not. If you do not want me to be your Omega, inform my father, but I will also show him what you did to me."

Taehyung sighs, knowing it was pointless to speak with the King. "Do you have any idea what you're asking for? Seokjin, I can promise you, you do not want me as your Alpha. I know I am attractive and-"

"With all due respect, Taehyung, this has nothing to do with your appearance. I mean, look at me; I am everything you could desire, and yet you still want to reject me; this has nothing to do with your picture-perfect appearance. I am used to being gorgeous; I see myself daily.

However, there is something inside me that I sense and am aware of. I am confident in it; as much as I am confident in myself, you are my Alpha, and I will follow my instincts. I want you alone. If it results in an unpleasant existence for me, then that is my destiny." As Jin spoke those words, he looked up, making eye contact with Taehyung.

Taehyung's jaw clenched, and he took a deep breath, "you are not going to give up, are you?"

"No, it's not in my blood."

"Well, you'll have to accept me for who I am as an Alpha. I want you to understand that your father has given me complete control over you. Because you're so desperate for me to be your Alpha, I'm not going to fight you on it longer; you've earned it. However, you're subjected to my rules from today, and everything I say is final. I will not treat you like a prince; in the future, you will be my Omega before you are a prince."

A smile formed on Jin's lips, "your Omega, I like that-"

"There will be certain rules that I expect you to obey, but we may discuss them after the wedding."
