Taehyung had spent much of his life searching for answers. However, now that he finally had the answers he longed for, he found himself regretting his curiosity. He wished he could go back to a time when he didn't feel the need to know everything. He was deeply troubled, and his resentment towards the kingdom and its leaders had intensified drastically.
He could not feign ignorance and conceal his recent discovery. For the same reason, he chose not to make any promises to his mother about keeping secrets. The weight of this secret was overwhelming, making it impossible for him to continue pretending it didn't exist. He couldn't fathom how she had kept things hidden for a long time, just like his father, who had carried the same secret to his end.
He carefully slipped back into bed beside Seokjin, making sure not to disturb his sleep. He felt relieved that Jin was still asleep when he returned. Given the events of that night, he was in no mood to handle Seokjin's inquisitive nature. The thought of returning to Seokjin being awake would have only added to his worries.
As he lay there, gazing at his sleeping Omega, everything became even more vivid in his mind. It was clear how Seokjin always managed to have things go his way without facing any consequences for his immature behavior or actions that others had been reprimanded for. His spoiled nature had little to do with being the youngest; instead, it stemmed from being the sole child born to the Queen.
Taehyung pondered Jimin and Namjoon's potential reactions upon discovering the truth. He questioned their ability to cope with the situation, as he was finding it difficult to come to terms with it. If it weren't for his mother's vivid portrayal of his father, Taehyung might have doubted the reliability of what she had to say. However, as she described everything, he could also sense a deep feeling of relief arising from her. It was as if a heavy weight of guilt and burden had been lifted from her shoulders, leaving her visibly lighter.
He became aware of his tears when a tear trickled down his cheek. He swiftly averted his gaze from Seokjin and hastily brushed away the moisture, feeling a sense of dissatisfaction towards himself.
He felt helpless, and it crushed his heart as he thought of his father's life and the emotions he might have experienced. He couldn't fathom his father's suffering, as another Alpha had taken advantage of the Omega he had rightfully claimed. The mere idea of anyone else laying a hand on Seokjin filled him with primal rage, exacerbated by the fact that his father had no say in the matter and was left utterly powerless due to the actions of the royal family. This only fueled his growing anger and hatred.
He couldn't possibly ignore the unforgivable actions of the royal family towards his parents. He had always hated that he was chosen as the Alpha by an Omega, but now he realized there was a reason behind Seokjin selecting him - to give him the chance to seek revenge.

Taehyung was startled awake by Jin's retching in the bathroom. He instantly realized that he had slept longer than intended. Without hesitation, he threw back the covers, rose from the bed, and went to the bathroom to check on Jin.
"This makes me hate it so much," Jin muttered as he leaned over the toilet. "This is not fair at all. Why do I have to go through this? I should be happy and pregnant right now."
Taehyung remained silent as he leaned in and gently caressed Jin's hair, offering him comfort. However, his thoughts wandered to his mother, reflecting on the countless instances she had experienced the same emotions as his Omega, all because of the king and Queen's selfish demands.
