"Do you really mean that? About wanting to be King? Is that something you really want, Seokjin?" Taehyung asked, looking closely at Jin.
Jin nodded, "I do want that. I've been living with a lot of confusion, held onto unfair expectations, held grudges, and carried the heavy burden of my family's past mistakes. But I want to change that not just for me but for everyone who has felt trapped by those burdens. That includes you, Taehyung. You deserve to lead. You deserve to be free."
Taehyung's heart raced. Even though he was focused on what Seokjin was saying, one thought kept returning to him, a thought he couldn't ignore. "And what does this mean for us? What will happen to our bond and everything we've been through together?"
"I don't know what to think about us, Taehyung. Our past is complicated and painful. We should avoid causing each other any more hurt."
The air in the room felt heavy, filled with unspoken thoughts and memories that were too difficult to face. Taehyung's expression turned intense as he moved closer, narrowing the space between them. His voice dropped to a deep, compelling tone that echoed in the quiet space between them.
"Seokjin," he said, carefully emphasizing each word, "You don't get to push me away. You don't get to break our bond and then walk away like it never meant anything. I'm your Alpha. I own you. That bond isn't just some fragile thread you can cut whenever you want."
Jin felt a lump form in his throat. The words impacted him more intensely than he expected, stirring up a blend of anger and a deeper, more instinctive emotion within him. Taehyung's presence was overpowering, his commanding aura enveloping Jin like a storm.
"You really think I want to be apart from you?" Jin whispered, his voice trembling with emotion. "Did you think I wanted to hurt you? Is that what you believe? Did you not hear what I said before?"
Taehyung's jaw tightened as he moved in closer, reaching out to grab Jin's wrist with a force that felt both protective and demanding. "Stop running," he urged. "Stop hiding behind your excuses. I know what you're feeling—because I feel it, too. The bond we used to share might be broken, but the need for each other remains. I can sense it in you. You belong to me, Seokjin, no matter how much you try to deny it."
Jin felt his heart racing wildly, the pressure of Taehyung's grip reminding him of their connection that still lingered despite everything that had happened. He wanted to fight back and hold onto the fragile defenses he had created, but Taehyung's deep, commanding voice made it hard.
"You can't just come in here and take me back by force," Jin said, his voice shaking but defiant. "I'm not some possession."
"No?" Taehyung's lips curled into a dark smile. "You're my Omega—the one who belongs to me. I will claim you again, Seokjin. Whether you like it or not. You didn't care back then when you wanted me, did you? Well, now it's my time not to care. It's my time to be selfish and want you."
He stepped even closer, the heat of his body pressing against Jin's, the scent of his dominance flooding Jin's senses, leaving him dizzy and breathless. Taehyung's other hand rose, his long fingers threading through the soft strands of Jin's hair, tilting his head back until their eyes locked, Alpha to Omega, fire to the flame.
"You tried to leave me," Taehyung whispered, his voice low and laced with a dangerous intensity that sent a shiver down Seokjin's spine. His piercing gaze was intense, burning with possessiveness and urgency. "But you can't escape this bond we share. I will break through your walls, demolish the defenses you've built around your heart, and pull you back into my embrace. Because that's what Alphas do; we claim what's rightfully ours, and you, Seokjin, are mine!"
