Twenty-Five

"You disappoint me every chance you have. How is it possible that you could love your brother while at the same time enabling anything like this to take place?" Jimin was questioned by Hoseok as the two stood apart from the other people in the room.

Jimin brushed away his tears and leaned against his Alpha as he tried to come to terms with what had transpired with his brother. "It wasn't on purpose that I did it. My mother cautioned me to keep my mouth shut. Because we expected that Taehyung would return, I expressed my concern about him not returning, but you told me to stay out of it.

"Neither of you handled the situation very smartly," Hoseok muttered as he put his arm around Jimin. "Since you are an omega, I have no doubt that you are conscious of the importance of maintaining close contact with your Alpha during your pregnancy. You should have let me know about Seokjin; then, I would have been able to contact Taehyung. When he arrives, I need you to remain by my side and not say anything. Got it?"

With a nod, Jimin agreed.

"I will see to it that everything is taken care of where you are concerned. Concerning the queen, your father will be the one to make the final decision as this is something she should not have kept hidden or encouraged you to keep hidden."

"I want to see Jin."

"You heard from your brother that he only wants to see Taehyung."

Taehyung had a hard time getting to Seokjin. When he talked to Seokjin, he knew deep down that something was wrong. Even when Seokjin told him there was a chance he was pregnant, he didn't believe him because his mind was so clouded.

They had not come to an agreement on having children. It was the very last thing on his list of anticipated occurrences to take place. But he knew something very bad was wrong when a terrible feeling came over him.

The pain that he had been going through was something that penetrated deep into him. It didn't take him long to figure out something was off, and their conversation only reinforced his suspicions. He was aware that it was too late to prevent what was about to happen, and there was nothing he could do about it other than to be at his Omega's side.

His eyes kept welling up with tears as a mixture of emotions poured over him, and he continued to cry. There was not a single thing in his life that was going well. Something unusual was taking place at every corner that he turned. He had been so close for the first time in his life to meeting the one person he had always wanted to meet, but now, he had no idea where the rest of his life would take him.

The only thing left for him to do at this point was to go and do what was right while he took the time to figure out the other details of his life.

"I am very sorry, my sweet Seokjin. Please forgive me. I had no idea that anything like this would take place. I didn't want to inform you when your brother and I discovered it because we didn't want to give you any anxiety, so I kept quiet. We had anticipated that your Alpha would come back. I can't believe he abandoned you for such a long time for something like this to happen to you-"

"He would have come back! If only you had told the truth to me." The tears welled up in Jin's eyes once again. The night had been difficult for him, and he wanted to be alone. Taehyung was the only person he needed to have around him. He didn't want to see anybody else. "Would you kindly exit? Please."

"Seokjin, please don't shut us out. I know this is hard. We can get you another Alpha-"

"Get out, please!" Jin screamed.

"Se-" The King overpowered the queen before dragging her out of the room and out of earshot.

"He does not want to see you. You have no right to suggest another Alpha be chosen while he is this way. What the heck is wrong with you? Do you understand the suffering that you have inflicted on our son?"
