As Taehyung glanced at the screen of his phone, which was illuminated, he considered his option for a moment before he slid the button and answered the phone.

"Good morning, Ma'am, and how are you today?" Although Taehyung had not been expecting a call from the Queen, given the circumstances, it was not unexpected that she would make contact with him.

"How could you do this to Seokjin? It's been weeks; where are you?"

Taehyung remained still as the question was posed to him; he had been anticipating it, but he knew the answer wouldn't make a difference in the situation, so he chose to remain silent. He had no intention of upsetting the royal family in any way, yet, he was aware that he needed some time alone because of how things were going for him and Seokjin, and he knew he needed to take a break.

"Taehyung, following the passing of your father, our family took care of you and fostered you. His Majesty, the King, has been at your side the whole time and cared for you as if you were his son. We placed our trust in you to take care of Seokjin. How could you leave him in this state? Do you have any idea how difficult this is for him?

If you were to return right now, I would forgive you for everything you have done. I can no longer bear the sight of my kid in pain. You have my word that I am no longer furious with you; all I ask is that you kindly return to Seokjin. He is struggling a lot without you here. Because everyone else in the area is also observing, this is not a healthy sign for our kingdom.

Taehyung, you are required to understand this. You are aware of how significant this is for our community. Whatever damage Seokjin may have caused, I will try my best to repair it, but in the meanwhile, I ask that you kindly return.

You need to know that a true Alpha would never abandon their Omega as you have. Consider following in the footsteps of your father. He was a man who was faithful to both his word and his purpose. Even after your mother abandoned you and him, he never even tried to mate with another Omega. He was conscious of the importance of the bond he had previously forged. Think as he does, and make sure you don't make the same mistakes as your mother. Don't lose sight of the things that matter.

This is not how Seokjin should be handled, and he does not deserve it. I understand that this may be difficult for you, but I gave you my son so that you may experience what it is like to be part of a family. You should be thankful to us for providing that opportunity for you."

Although his jaw was clenched tightly as he listened to the Queen, Taehyung did not respond to what she said.

"Taehyung, are you there?"

"Yes, ma'am, I am."

"Are you coming back? Did you hear what I said?"

"I will come back whenever it is convenient for me to do so. I am grateful to you, ma'am, for calling and taking the time to share your thoughts with me. I have to go now."

Taehyung didn't await a response before he hung up the phone. He had never been impolite to the Queen in all of the years that he had spent serving the King, and even though her comments had been excessive, he would not allow her to provoke a response from him since he was aware that there would be a cost to pay should he make the Queen angry.

"How can he be gone for such a long time? I was under the impression that it would only last a few days, but it has already been weeks." After learning that Taehyung had not yet returned, Jimin began to pace the floor of his room as he felt an overwhelming sense of frustration.

His younger brother was going through a lot, and even though he realized that part of it was Seokjin's fault, he was not pleased with how long Taehyung had been gone; it was unacceptable.
