Jin examined himself in the mirror, pleased with his appearance. He put the last coat of lip balm on his lips and snatched his notepad and MacBook off the table. Having already told Taehyung that he would stop by to discuss their wedding plans and give him some responsibilities. Since he did not believe it was fair for him to be managing everything on his own. He was making a trip on the other side of the Kingdom to see him.

He had arranged some pastries to take with him so that they could enjoy them while drinking coffee. He had previously arranged to be brought to Taehyung's suite by the time he arrived there.

Having completed a long walk that gave him the feeling that he had received an added workout, he arrived in front of Taehyung's front door. Two flower pots on the patio stood out to him, one on each side of the entrance, which he had not seen on his last visit. It piqued his interest since Taehyung did not strike him as someone interested in gardening. He made a mental note to enquire about them later.

Shifting the items in his hands, he rang the doorbell and then knocked at the door, as he stood patiently waiting for Taehyung to open the door for him. While he was standing there, he considered asking Taehyung for a key since it was not ideal for him to be standing outside while guards stared at him from a distance. He did not like the sense of being watched. And it was for this reason that he had demanded from the age of sixteen that he never be trailed by guards when walking about the Kingdom.

If he had to be followed around by security guards wherever that he went, he had informed his father that it indicated a problem with the general security of the Kingdom. He considered it an invasion of his privacy to have guards continually surrounding him.

When he ventured outside of the Kingdom, he saw how important it was to have a guard or two on hand, but he did not feel the need for a whole army.

He was well aware that his siblings and the majority of the royal family disagreed with this, but he did not care; he had his own preferences and a unique manner of living his life.

The door of Taehyung's house opened after what seemed like an eternity and five more ringings of the bell, leading Jin to push through it and inside his house, stepping past him.

"Wow, and here I thought you were not at home. How come it took you so long to open the door?" Jin asks this as he makes his way to the kitchen.

Taking a deep breath, Taehyung closed the door and followed Jin.

When he got into his kitchen, Jin placed items from his hand on the breakfast table before he turned and looked in his direction.

"Where is the coffee that got delivered here?"

"I sent it back."

Jin's eyes widen as he realizes what happened. "Can you tell me why you would do something like that?"

"I do not drink coffee, and I did not order any."

"Okay, but I drink coffee, and I am sure they told you that I, the prince, had ordered that they bring coffee here; did that not mean anything to you? You could have asked for tea or water for yourself."

"Considering the hour, it is too late for you to be drinking coffee," Taehyung said as he leaned against the kitchen doorway and looked at Jin. "Drinking coffee after three p.m. is not recommended."

Jin shook his head, "and you think I care about recommendations?" he said. "Coffee is something I consume whenever I want and whenever it pleases me to do so."

"Interesting, I did not know that," Taehyung responded, his eyes fixed on Jin's.

"Well, now you are up to speed. Anyway, I bought pastries; do you have a coffee maker here, or can you prepare anything to complement my pastries? I have a lot to talk about with you about our wedding, but I had planned on doing so while enjoying my pastries and coffee, and now since I do not have any coffee, it is putting a wrench in my plans."
