I sat on the grass in the middle of the glade, panting like a dog. It was boiling. The sun was blaring down on us and heating the place up like sauna. My skin felt like it was on fire, and sticky with sweat. The heat was so unbearable, I didn't know if I could take it much longer.

Then I spotted the little pond over by the trees. I wonder if a little swim would cool me down? I got up and went over, stripping of down to my underwear which caught a few of the boys attention. I jumped in with a splash and quickly floated back up to the surface.

"What on earth are you doing love?" Newt came over, standing at the edge.

"What does it look like? Swimming. It's boiling today Newt"

"Yeah I know but I don't think that's such a good idea-"

"Oh come on Newt it's just water it's fine" I swam up to him, leaning on the edge "Why don't you come in with me?"

"I can't I'll be soaked, and I'm busy-"

"Newt for once just relax will you" I laughed.

"No I think I'll- AHH!" I pulled him into the water, splashing everywhere.

He came back up and brushes his wet hair out of his eyes.

"Y/n! What was that for!"

"Don't you feel cooler now?"

"Of course I bloody do, but now I'm soaked"

"It's not that bad" I swam up to him, putting my arms around his neck.

"Alby is gonna kill me"

"Alby's sitting under the trees to get away from the sun, he's too hot and bothered to care what everyone's doing"

"There was still no need to pull me in-"

I kissed him on the lips slowly, then pulled back, making him look at me confused.

"What was that for?"

"I wanted to"

He smiled "Do it again"
