Silver crescent

When I saw you in the streets,

Time stopped.

Your eyes bore within me,

And you caught a glimpse of the moon of my soul.

When I fell for you on that night,

My heart was yours.

Your hand reached for it,

And you managed to get ahold of it.

When I was ready to give you my life,

My heart was a drum pulsing in the night, for you and you only.

Your hand started clawing,

And you teared it apart.

There once was a silver crescent.

A moon that glowed in the darkest nights,

A moon that cast its light for a being only.

Before that being decided to cast malevolent shadows upon it.
