Rocky Path

Life is a rocky path,

A rocky path with rivers,

Monsters that roar in rivers,

And darkness that roars in monsters.

Life is a rocky path,

It breathes with stillness,

Only to lunge and claw at your heart,

Only to break you when you're happy.

Life is a rocky path,

You must overcome all the obstacles,

Encourage your heart to continue,

With the knowledge that there's something in the end.

There's light in the end,

Each of us' light,

Our own definition of a glorious success,

For the title of an honorable victor.

Sometimes you're tired,

Sometimes there's sunlight,

But rain always follows.

Sometimes you want to stop.

I don't know the point of walking anymore.

Is the victory of love worth the roars,

Worth the rain and pain?

Sometimes I don't care if there's something in the end.

Sometimes I'm tired,

I search helplessly for an exit to the path.

But once you started taking that one step,

You can never turn around and leave.

All you can do is climb on,

All you can do is hope,

All you can do is continue.

Unless you just stop.
