You were so light before.
You were nothing of a burden.
You were the light, so light.
Someone that made me fly to the skies,
With airiness in your eyes.
Nothing of a heaviness that sunk me to the ground.
Now you are.
You're a burden I carry around,
A burden that weighs me down.
I don't know how to take you off.
You whsiper when I want to forget,
And you don't when I need you.
I wish I could forget.
Forget about you.
Forget about your betrayal.
Forget that you never loved me.
But a broken heart cannot forget,
About the person who teared it.
You'll stay a burden
You'll stay a heaviness
You'll stay a darkness
You'll stay a shadow
You'll stay a once lighted being
You'll stay my soul's assassin.
