When I met you,
When I knew you,
Before you broke me,
There was no question.
I would've done anything.
Anything.
Anything.
Just to see your pair of grey eyes in the end.
I would've laid in the sand for decades
While the scorching heat washed its waves upon me.
I would've stood on glacial ice for centuries
While the cold reached its claws to my skin.
I would've teared cities apart
Burned them to the ground.
I would've killed thousands of souls
Stabbing knives at them.
Just to be in your arms
At the end of the voyage.
Just to feel your touch
At the end of the journey.
Just for you.
For you only.
You were everything,
You meant everything.
But would you?
Would you have done these for me?
Would you?
Would you, dear?
I thought you would.
But now what am I doing?
Crying. Shedding a river of tears,
Which you caused.
You, out of all the people.
You, my once-everything.
You, my once-meaning-of-life.
You.
Kill souls now I won't do.
Because I now know,
What the hell it feels like
To be teared apart.
