Honey,
Is of a golden tint,
It lingers sweetly on your tongue,
It makes you exhale.
You,
Are of a golden glow,
You linger sweetly in my heart,
You made me smile.
Life,
Is of fake gold that masks grey,
It lingers bitterly for decades until it fades,
And it broke me.
It's bittersweet,
You, honey, and life,
It's bittersweet to think about
The rose that once bloomed.
The honey was a golden poison.
You were a golden knife.
Life was a golden death.
The rose faded and turned black.
It's all so bittersweet,
It's such a pity.
That I once hoped.
Of course, I never should have.
No, the rose is still here.
Yes, the rose still has thorns.
No, the rose isn't blooming.
Yes, the rose is fading.
Yes, the rose is empty of petals.
Yes, the rose lived before,
Yes, the rose will and wants to die.
Yes, the rose is someone.
