You only realize how high you've been
When you look down to
The low blue morose moods.
You only realize how lucky you are
Once you cast your gaze to those hungry,
Thirsty souls, on the streets.
You only realize the light you've been blinded by,
Until the speck of darkness grows in your heart.
Until everything goes black.
You only realize how much it hurt for that bitter time,
When you finally recover and see what shone in the distances,
While you were dying slowly.
You only realize the cold of this world
Once the warmth disappears and the blizzards
Start lunging at you.
You only realize life is nothing but an endless winter
Until they all leave you to your own company,
Because they all leave anyway.
You only realize how much you loved
Until he suddenly shatters you, and tears you to pieces.
Until he suddenly laughs and kills you.

A/N: This poem makes absolutely no sense even though . . . it sort of does. I don't know if it's positive or negative, if it's deep or not. It just came out of my fingers naturally when I settled them on the keyboard so I thought I'd share it with you.
I truly believe that if you type something naturally without thinking it's because your brain needs to express this even though you don't exactly know what it is. So here, get an inside glimpse of my (extremely) messy brain and try to figure out with me what this is supposed to mean XD.
