Lee looked up as the guard opened the door to the room that was their prison cell. "Well howdy there."
Lorcan scowled at her. "Let's go."
Mal stood. "Where are we going?"
"Not you, just the mouthy one."
Lee batted her eyelashes at him. "Might that be me?"
He leaned down, grabbed her arm and hauled her roughly to her feet. "Let's go." He hauled her from the prison cell.
Mal took a step forward and Lorcan's buddy stepped into the room and brandished his weapon. "Sit your ass back down," he snarled. Mal sank back to the floor. "Good boy." He backed out of the room and slammed the door shut.
"That went well. I wonder why they took Lee?" Van stared at the door.
"She has the gene, maybe Nesrin wants her to activate more Ancient tech."
"Maybe." Van slumped against the wall. "How are we going to get out of here?"
Mal sighed and leaned against the wall. "I haven't quite figured that out yet."
"You think Lee is gonna be okay?"
Mal shrugged. He didn't want to say anything out loud, he felt if he kept his opinions to himself perhaps things might not go as badly as he believed they were going to go.
Lee hummed as Lorcan dragged her down the hallway and back to the room where they'd met with Nesrin when they were captured. "You like working for this crazy bitch?"
"Shut up."
"I'll take that as a maybe. You know, if you help us escape—"
"I told you to shut up." He shoved her forward through the door.
Lee stumbled, righted herself and smirked at Nesrin. "He doesn't like you much." She pointed at Lorcan.
Nesrin chuckled. "You believe that you're entertaining, don't you?"
"I try."
"Well, how about you entertain me with the tale of how I get through the Gate on Earth."
"Become a ghost and float through the iris?" Lee questioned while she wagged her fingers in the air.
"Tell me how to disable this iris so I can step through the Gate," Nesrin demanded.
Lee tapped a finger against her chin as she pretended to think it through. "I honestly don't know how you can do that. You aren't a member of an SG team, sorry but you're out of luck."
"Tell me how to get through the Gate!"
Lee sighed. "You can't. You see, we're kind of special and the Gate knows us so we can get through. It doesn't know you and you're also kinda mean so it's not going to let you through."
