A new SG-1 team has been formed by General Samantha Carter, who now leads Stargate Command. Join Colonel Malachy Hughes as he and his team step through the Gate to explore the galaxy. They'll meet new friends, old enemies and discover what it truly...
Mal's eyes swept the small village the men led him into. It had been larger at one time in the past, he could see the remaining foundations, or broken down structures spreading out from the main square. The buildings didn't appear to be Furling, unless this was a primitive village that had been abandoned. The buildings were simple, single room crude brick structures. Varying sizes of squares and rectangles all built to a similar theme. It could have been a society the Furlings were protecting from the Goa'uld without directly interfering in the culture.
Emeric's men led him to a building, shoved him inside and slammed the door behind him.
"Enjoy your time here, Colonel Hughes, once we turn you over to Nesrin I'm sure it won't be enjoyable." Emeric cackled delightedly. "Lock it down," he ordered one of his men.
Mal watched as a force field activated around the building. Well, that made the glassless windows useless for escape. Great, thanks to his idiot step-brother he was now in the hands of the Alliance again. It was only a matter of time before Emeric got Nesrin's crazy ass here. He needed a way out of here before she arrived or he was a dead man. She'd skewer him and roast him over an open flame, then bring him back and do it all over again.

Lee moved slowly, her eyes on the ground as she searched for signs of the Alliance and Colonel Hughes. So far she'd found nothing and she was beginning to believe Elias had shoved him off a cliff or drowned him in a river.
"What better way to rid yourself of someone than on an alien planet where no one else would ever look?" she muttered. When she heard approaching voices she dropped down to hide behind a tree.
Three men walked past her down the path that led away from the Stargate. All three wore Alliance uniforms.
"Well, I guess the dick was telling the truth," she muttered.
Lee slipped from her hiding place and kept to one side of the path in the shadows created by the trees as she followed them at a distance. The men continued along the path until they reached a small village. She watched them enter it. Inside the little camp were Alliance soldiers. They'd obviously begun using this planet as a base of some sort. They appeared to be well settled in. If this was their base of operations then they probably weren't planning on taking the Colonel anywhere, at least not soon. That was a good thing and it increased her chances of rescuing him.
"Great, now how do I get in there and get us both back out without dying?"
She dropped behind the bushes she sat in when one of the Alliance soldiers patrolling the perimeter of the village moved into the trees near where she was hidden. A smile formed on her face and she moved so she could come up behind him.
"Mmm, very nice."
The man made a sound of surprise and began to turn to look at her. She swung her P90 and struck him upside the head before he could fully turn. She made a face as he fell. "Should have waited until he was finished." She set her weapon aside and stripped the man's uniform off and then secured him so he didn't come staggering out of the forest to warn the others about her. She changed into the uniform and hid her gear in the bushes closer to the trail. She stepped from the trees and stared at the cluster of buildings. "I can do this," she told herself.
