Cal waved Mal into the briefing room. "Colonel, come in. Where's the rest of your team?"

"Right behind him!" Lee called out as she shoved past Mal.

"Very good, come in and take a seat, please."

Mal looked from Cal to the others around the table. "No offense, Dr. Myers, but why are we here?"

"If you take a seat I'll fill you in."

"All right." Mal moved across the room, followed by Lee and Van and they took seats at the table in the briefing room.

Cal folded his arms on the edge of the table and focused on Colonel Dawson. "I have a mission for you, Colonel. This planet was discovered in the Atlantis database, M03-662 appears to be uninhabited and according to the M.A.L.P. conditions are favorable. I'd like your team, and SG-1, to check it out. It could be used for an Alpha site if necessary.

"Do we know anything at all about the planet? Was there any information in the database?" Colonel Dawson asked.

"Not much, it looks as if they considered it once as a viable place to move the city if need be, but discarded it because the foliage is too dense to land the city. There isn't enough open land."

"All right, we'll take a look at it." Colonel Dawson looked at Mal. "Ready for a little Pegasus adventure?"

"Oh, me, I am! Can I fly a Puddle Jumper?" Lee said.

Cal chuckled, "You'll be going via the Stargate, Captain, on foot."

She groaned. "I'm never going to get to fly one!"

Mal shook his head. "We're not heading for home just yet, you have plenty of time."

"All right, get going." Cal stood. "I look forward to your report." He directed the comment to Dawson.

Rhett stood. "Yes, sir, Dr. Myers. He turned to look at Mal. "Ready to go, Colonel?"

"Give my team a few minutes to get our gear and we'll meet you down by the Gate."

"All right." Colonel Dawson led his team from the room.

Mal sighed. "Well, let's go."

"This is exciting, a real mission in Pegasus!" Van gave an excited little squeal and hurried out of the room. "I'll get my gear!" he yelled before he disappeared.

"Not fair, I wanted to fly a Puddle Jumper," Lee mumbled.

"Yes, so we've heard, numerous times." Mal led her out of the briefing room. "Get your gear and hurry back to the Gate."

Mal looked around

Mal looked around. "Looks pretty basic. Dr. Myers was correct, there's a lot of foliage."

Rhett nodded. "Let's split up and see what we can find."

"Kain, can you and your brother stop eyeing one another as if you're going to throw down any minute?" Mal asked.

"I have no idea what you're talking about, sir."
