40. Fan mail

Brad's pov

For the past two days now the lads and I have been working on an album, we have listened to it over and over again, tried to sort out the tracking list, thought of front over designs. As you have probably guessed instead of over working ourselves for a month to raise the money to buy the house we have agreed that we are going to carrying on and see if we can raise the funds without over doing anything.

The band and I are carrying on with the album, planning the tour and yesterday we decided to release a new single to keep the buzz in the air before the album release. We have chosen to go with a song that will be on the album although it is different because we are going to be collaborating with somebody. We don't know who we will be collaborating with yet because we are sorting it out, well Joe is sorting it out, but it will be different still from the album version. The money we make from the album, single and tour ticket sales will go towards the money to buy the house that way we are carrying on with our lives while raising money and not causing ourselves any illnesses by over working. Hopefully the house will still be available when we manage to raise the money though.

The money we have raised so far has been put into a bank account so that we can keep it safe without the temptation of using it or loosing any of it. The bank details and card are with Joe so we don't spend it because we know what we are like. We know we can trust Joe with it because he won't loose or use it unlike us.

Today we have a day off so I am planning on sleeping and relaxing, we all deserve a break. It is the weekend so the girls don't have to go into college either so they are also planning pretty much the same thing as the lads and I.

Joe spoke to somebody he knows who has started to manage Trio Trouble so they don't have to do it themselves. I think his name was Chris. He is quite good, pretty much like Joe. Not to hard on them and not to soft so he gets the best out of the girls without pushing them too hard. He is taking care of the promotions, finances and everything which is a huge weight off Jayna's mind as she was the one who mainly handled that sort of stuff. Yet at the same time he is ensuring that their college work doesn't suffer which we are all glad about.

"Brad. Emma. Are either of you planning on joining me today?" Dad shouts up the stairs. I sigh knowing that we should spend some family time together but I just can't bring myself to leave my warm, comfortable bed. I have been lying in bed all morning and it is so comfortable. I couldn't even be bothered to go and get food or a drink earlier I just ignored the urge to want food or drink and fell asleep again.

"Coming." I moan which is quickly followed by an inhuman noise from Emma's room which I think was her way of saying she was coming as well. I laugh at my sister as I pull myself out of my bed, slip a t shirt on and head downstairs. I walk into the living room and flop on the sofa not looking at what could be underneath me when I land.

"Wow it is like the walking dead in here." Dad laugh as Emma does the same thing but flopping so she is on the sofa dad is on with her head on his lap.

"So early."

"So little energy."

"Sleep, food, drink, repeat."

"Ditto." Emma and I talk between ourselves causing dad to laugh at us.

"Well I thought you would be interested to know that you have some fan mail." I shoot up looking at dad with shock written over my face. Fan mail, I love fan mail, it helps me to connect with the fans and hearing how grateful they are for our music. It's encouraging.

"Brady you have fan mail." Emma repeats.

"You too Em."

"Really?" She shoots up and stares at dad like me. "Everyone is coming round here because I spoke to everyone this morning while you two were sleeping and apparently they have a bit more energy then both of you put together so they are dragging themselves round here. Joe and Chris are bringing the sacks of mail and dropping them off. You and the lads can either go in the basement to your room and depending on where they go you and the girls can go into the basement or your room to read it all. Or you could go into the basement together. It's big enough if you move Tristan's drums to the side."
