chapter 07

" Wake up " I feel a small push in my back

" Five more minutes mum " i murmur in my pillow

" Wake up Olivia , it's Martha not your mum " I hear Martha's voice

I turn around rubbing my eyes and standing on my elbows.

" What ?" I ask feeling lost

" Do you know Aaron ?" She asks

" Yeah why ?" I ask with scrunched eyebrows , her question catching me off guard

" He left a note for you " she says as she passes me a folded paper " i didn't open it but it says it's from him and writes your name on it "

I take it in my hand , unfolding it . I try to read it but I can't ,my vision is still blurry from my sleep.

" Could you read that for me " i pass it to Martha again

" It says ; I know how that yesterday was a bit weird . I want to make up to you . I'll be at the park near the swings at 10 if you wanna talk. PS I didn't have your number that's why I wrote you a message. Don't consider me too corky" "

" No way " I say rubbing my hands in my face , a smile on my  lips

" What was yesterday? Was he the reason you were sad ? " she says with an angry look

" No , no we were at the library and some dudes - his friends from the team probably came up to us and they were a bit weird to me " i explain " that's all "

" Mhm yeah right " she nods not being convinced " and why were you upset yesterday "

Shit, what do I say now?

" Period cramps , awfull" I try to justify

" Well you should be careful with him "

" Why is that "

" I don't know I've never really liked him . He brings out something shady to me "

" He seemed like a good guy to me " i shrug

" Just be careful " she continues " and what now , you have a date with him ? " she smirks wiggling her eyebrows

" No stop ! " I smile

" Look at you ! You're blushing " she pinches my left cheek slightly

" No I'm not . We're just gonna hang out " I say standing up " and besides that I don't know if I wanna go "

" Why not ?" She questions

" Because I already said that I'm gonna go to the party tonight, I shouldn't miss it "

I just wanted to go there so Jacob could shut up .

" What ? Are you crazy ? Every Saturday there's a party everywhere " she says moving to the living room with me " you should come the next one "

I go to the kitchen and put some cereal in a bowl so I can eat .

" Okey , but I want you to promise me something " I say bringing the bowl to her direction on the couch " this is going to stay between me and you . No one can know besides us "

" I can do that , but why ?"

" I don't want Jacob to know . He is going to say something to my father - or worse to my brother and they are really protective over that stuff " i explain

" Oh yeah I didn't though about that "

" He doesn't care himself though he is just takes orders "
