When I feel alone with no one to turn to
I look above and I began to feel you
Your loving embrace and gentle assurance
Your unending promises that restore in me a semblance
When my life began to spiral without meaning
I look above and discover your silver lining
I realize I have a lot in my possession
You are more than enough, not just an option
When things I planned don't go my way
I look above and remember as you say
Many are my plans but Yours are greater
You have my best interest, all good you will cater
When I start to unravel and my ugliness show
I look above with Your guarantee not to be low
You can lean on me You'll often say
I'll send people to greet you and say hey
When my calls and questions are unanswered
I look above to be bewildered
Of how You will always provide
My will and wishes You will abide
When I feel unloved and left out
I look above and the heavens I scout
With your wonders and unfathomable glories
That leave my heart and soul in flurries
When my dreams are unfulfilled
I look above and with You I build
A future that is hopeful and true
I'm not in reverie, not a shrew
When I begin to forget again
I look above and remember Your doctrine
I am not alone and never will be
I'll always have you so I am free
