Bereft, hollow, longing
Ghosts of the past and the future
They intensify the suffering
Confusing, wanting, unsureI just want to be carried away
Brought to a place of solitude
Where I can shout or pray
Cry out in anguish or gratitudeOr I will be taken to a party
Very alive, dark, and loud
That I might sever from reality
Blend in with the wild crowdNeither will put me at ease though
Nothing to calm my soul and heart
For in every moment that I owe
Leaves me in a hollow cartColors are all about blending
Sounds and notes are appearing
Closing my eyes I am hoping
My dilemma may now be endingMay the confusion I am having
Be answered by the greater person
And the hollowness I am feeling
Be filled to the brim for a reasonWhen everything is in turmoil
And around me leaves a question
Folding my hands as I recoil
Maybe the best solution17:01-17:24, Thursday, 102022
