TEMPORARY VOYAGE
The world cannot wait for you
It does not stop when you want to
It will not cry if you are sad
Nor does it pacify you when you are mad
The world will keep on revolving
When you sleep or do nothing
It will not rejoice when you are happy
It will not wait for you as you dilly dally
The world does not hear
When you're hurt and can't bear
The pains of your past and present
You have to fight each passing moment
The world is sick and has gone bad
You don't have to believe it is a fad
But for a religious person like you
You know what is right and what is true
The world is not meant to be our home
This is a temporary voyage bound for doom
Unless we surrender our lives to our Creator and Master
He can't change us for the good or for the better
