SLUMP
When you have many things to do
Honing your other talents has become a foe
You sell and earn to continue living
But you have that continual uneasy feelingThe schedule to write and read thrice a week
Has been jumbled as income you seek
But you have nagging thoughts of discontent
Because you have come to know better your life's intentIt is not to gather wealth to fill in your stomach
It is not to be superior so everyone you attack
It is not even to be successful in this temporary expedition
But to inspire, glorify Him, and serve as others' motivationSo as you stay in this slump of life
Faced with hurdles that cut as the knife
Be empowered because you serve as a beacon
For anyone forlorn, searching for inspirationYou will not forever remain in one wave
You will go up and down, you'll be saved
Trust the process and trust your Lord
Losing you He cannot affordDo what makes you truly happy
Make time for things that matter permanently
Fill your soul with eternal occupation
Live a life of joy, not of desolation09:09-09:20, Saturday, 073022
