DYING AGAIN
Freed, freed, we're freed at last!
Every bad remnants we must now cast
Moving forward should be our main goal
Converting every man, exhorting every soul
Never again must we dwell back
To the ghastly moments of our attack
Forgiving what transpired may be impossible
But it will heal us and save us further trouble
From our dark experiences we have many things to learn
Things in oppression we can never anywhere discern
From the hardships of the past we were molded strong
To overcome life's storms and the billows throng
We are every day fortified of what we go through
Every battle, every war, every breakthrough
We heal from the scars of the past and become resilient
We can now say no if abused in being meek and obedient
For never again we will go back to being taking for granted
Our weakness magnanimously trampled and exploited
Never again we will surrender and raise the white flag
We are now better individuals the world can never drag
Each day may present a new obstacle in our life long travail
But we shall surpass them all without fail
We will never go down the drain and die again
Leaving this world bound and broken
