SWEET DAY OF REPOSE
Oh, sweet day of repose, oh, holy day
Duly created by the Almighty
To which we cease to work, we rest and lay
In His graces we are at peace rightly
So, come and join the band marching to church
With rejoicing hearts we adore and praise
Come and join the hands and feet that will lurch
His holy name this special day we raise
We are dearly loved by the mighty King
He wants a balanced life for His children
He longs for each one to happily sing
Songs to uplift the weak and weary men
We cannot always be on the get go
If no repose was made for the body
But in six days we can now reap and sow
For we were recharged not to be muddy
Each week we're blessed to have this holy day
Reminding us the power of our Lord
If we entrust our all, not in dismay
Then, we will rise supreme in one accord
