CUP OF TEA
You may never be everyone's cup of tea
But always choose to smile and be happy
Nothing easy might come your way
But be excited and live for today
Love yourself as your first priority
For you can only give your ability
What you do not have you cannot share
As you open up to others and make your life bare
You cannot understand other people
If within yourself you are in trouble
So as you give love and understanding
Pray that you are cured or in the process of mending
You may not have all the wealth and spare change
But you love above and beyond range
Even if you are hurting and honestly lacking
You pray for them and understand their bearing
But if you continue to shoulder all their worries
Without attending first to your higher priorities
History might repeat itself and leave you again disabled
Draw the boundaries now and don't let yourself be troubled
