Not all you want may be offered in a platter dish
Some may need you to work so you make a wish
Nevertheless, you have to persevere and make a go
As you experience life's tides with their high and low
Select wisely as you grab the opportunities
Be very grateful as you were given life's varieties
Perform well so you may be noticed
Give credit to whom it's due with no one missed
You are but a speck of dust in this great galaxy
To live a life filled with purpose in ecstasy
To savor each moment and enjoy each day
As you forge your path and follow His way
