FOREBODING
I got up from my bed
With an eyesight that's blurry
Despite the peace of what is said
From my nightly activity
I stared blindly at the wall
With thoughts firing all at once
Unknowing what might befall
To my lovely little ones
I sent a heartfelt prayer
To calm my worries and cares
If the world unfolds layer by layer
We're secured by the One who numbered our hairs
I look up at the mirror
And smiled heartily
Even if my face is a horror
I am at peace verily
I shall laugh of what might happen
I shall dress myself with honor and dignity
For a graceful woman even if fallen
Puts her ultimate trust in His Majesty
I may be unsure of tomorrow
But He promised He shall be with me
His strength I will everyday borrow
And His promises I will always see
