FOREBODING
I got up from my bed
With an eyesight that's blurry
Despite the peace of what is said
From my nightly activityI stared blindly at the wall
With thoughts firing all at once
Unknowing what might befall
To my lovely little onesI sent a heartfelt prayer
To calm my worries and cares
If the world unfolds layer by layer
We're secured by the One who numbered our hairsI look up at the mirror
And smiled heartily
Even if my face is a horror
I am at peace verilyI shall laugh of what might happen
I shall dress myself with honor and dignity
For a graceful woman even if fallen
Puts her ultimate trust in His MajestyI may be unsure of tomorrow
But He promised He shall be with me
His strength I will everyday borrow
