WOMAN IN BLACK
I'm a woman in black
Someone lost in track
A woman in mourning
Of a vow not binding
In distress I will not cower
Pain and censure I'll gladly suffer
For my character will be molded
Even if my life is not gilded
Heartaches are normal
For someone who's formal
Who gives her all without reservation
Shadowed by love's golden illusion
But now that she saunters alone
She will not be a chicken without a bone
She'll put on a mask for all to see
The future of a woman genuinely happy
