FADED
Faded but not jaded
Moving on but not voided
Memories fleeting but not eroded
From my cranial lobes as they floatedSmiling and not anymore hurting
Genuinely feeling passionate in working
I keep thanking the Lord for all the blessing
That moments by moments I have been receivingFalling but I am bouncing back
Not succumbing to the enemy's attack
Not minding the things I lack
Strength and His promises I packFor the measure of life is not all the ivory
Not all the achievement, praise and glory
But how we learn from all the setbacks and irony
How we fight and pursue our goals and dreams happilySo as I am in reverie of my faded memories
As I count my blessings and also my frailties
I put an end to my throbbing pain with a healing poultice
To enjoy life without anything amiss17:42-17:48, Friday, 061722
