TERMITES
Beware of the green eyed monsters
Lurking within your heart's corners
Taper them down and don't let them manifest
Learn to be moderate and be a pacifist
Be grateful of everything that you have
Fill your heart with kindness and love
Though some say a pint of envy is a must
To King David it shall put your bones in a cast
Envy and jealousy are termites of your soul
They will make you feel half and never whole
They will put a spell upon your life's oar
And create imbalance in what you live for
It might be hard and be never easy
But you must remember to whom you put glory
Never compare yourself with anyone and anybody
For there will always be someone greater or lesser than you that you can bully
