The four foreign members have been waiting so long for something that seems like years away. Some of them were quick to lose hope and reach the limit of their patience just to get put right back on their feet from the others. They all know exactly what the other is feeling, it's mutual, which is why they just have to comfort each other even if they are waiting in vain. They thought about protesting, but that would have only made things worse, so they stayed quiet like they always have.
Of course, the rest of the members have always been ready to support them too, even if it got very hectic once in a while. There were times when Tzuyu just lost her appetite, making it difficult for her to maintain a healthy weight. On top of that, Dahyun would find Momo crying during the long and dark nights where the dancer would let her emotions get the best of her. Seeing her girlfriend in that state always tore Dahyun one into pieces. Similarly, Sana and Mina would put on a movie while they tried to sleep hoping that the noise would distract and stop them from thinking about their families.
The foreign members haven't been able to visit their countries, their families for so long to the point that they've started thinking that they're stuck in Korea. The schedules the group had got them out of breath, going from stuido to studio and from show to show. However, right now, the shootings, the promotions, and stages are over, finally letting them rest. Simply just getting a full night of sleep made everyone get aware of how sore and tensed up they are. Maybe, if you're lucky enough, patience pays off?
While everyone is doing their thing, either in the living room or bedrooms, the four girl's phones simultaneously receive a notification that can only mean one thing during this point of time. It would truly be cruel if this message isn't what they all have in mind. Two of them, Momo and Sana, jump up from the couch with a shriek as they check the notification, startling the others in the room. At the same time, Tzuyu and Mina's bedroom doors get flung open and they hurry to the living room. The rest of the members join their excitement when they realize what is happening. The notification is a message from the manager, informing them that they're able to visit their families.
Another day that seemed like it was going to be long and boring like the one before suddenly got filled with joy and excitement. The girls are helping the foreign ones with packing their suitcases, since they want to leave the next day and not waste any time. They can't hold in their laughter when they realize how much of Momo's luggage is just snacks, even thought she could just buy some there too.
However, during all that, Dahyun seems a little hesitant and she keeps zoning out with her eyes locked onto the luggage. It's something that doesn't go unseen by Momo, which is why she eventually holds Dahyun by the hand and makes her stay while the rest of them go to Tzuyu's room to help her too. Momo waits until they're fully out of sight before closing the door. Then, she gently caresses the younger one's hair.
"Is something bothering you, Dahyuni? You keep zoning out and I—"
"Can I come with you?" Dahyun asks with a sparkle shining in her eyes like a cat's whenever it wants something from the owner.
It's a sudden question that lets Momo's own eyes widen and her lips form into a pleased smile. Although she's wondering why the younger one wants to visit Kyoto instead of an area where there are more places for entertainment, she still nods.
"Of course you can, Dahyuni!" she reaches for Dahyun's hands," But are you sure? You suddenly just—"
"Yeah, I'm sure! I'll go pack too now. See you later, unnie!" Dahyun says before running off to her room in a blink, leaving Momo with the smile on her face which seems to have gotten even brighter.
It's the second time Momo will be visiting her parents with company on her side, but she feels as excited as she was the first time when she went with Nayeon. What's making her even more happy is the fact that this will be her first trip as girlfriends with Dahyun. Also, Momo not being the one to make the request, but Dahyun wanting to join her on her own will makes her feel so pleased.
