"I'm back."

The sound of the door catches the attention of all of the girls in the apartment. They are partly concerned but happy at the same time, knowing who just opened the door.

A very unfortunate argument happened four days ago. Everyone was in their rooms with their significant roomates, getting ready for bed. Everything was fine during that time. Everyone was happy, since their performance was slowly coming up. They were all exited. But sometimes, with excitement, stress can occur too.

Dahyun had been having a weird feeling in her stomach, the fear of messing up on stage sent chills up her spine. And Momo wasn't making anything better for her. She was constantly asking the younger one for help, annoying her, and completely dirtying their entire room, which struck a bad nerve. Dahyun got so impatient with her to the point where she couldn't hold it in anymore.

As much as Dahyun likes talking to her girlfriend and taking care of her, horrible things went down that night. She took all her built up anger and stress out on Momo, yelling some of the most heartbreaking things to her that night, causing her to leave the apartment with teary eyes, not a single word coming out of her mouth.

The members tried to reach out to Momo every day by calling her, never getting an answer. The only thing they knew was that Momo had booked into a hotel. They would've had no idea if the manager hadn't told them. Mina and Sana tested their luck on visiting her, but Momo never answered the door. The girls were left clueless.

Dahyun has been angry with herself ever since. She misses her girlfriend's laugh, her smile, her voice, her attention, her touch. Dahyun hates herself for over exaggerating. She feels extremely guilty and like a horrible person. She knows that the things she said that night weren't even close to how Momo really is. She just felt frustrated at that moment, letting her anger take control over her mouth.

Now, four days after, Momo is back and stepping inside the apartment.

The girls sprint towards the door, happy too see their dancer again, who opens her arms wide for them. Momo doesn't look the same she did when she left, though. She has changed just in a matter of a few days. It looks like she has lost weight, face smaller than ever, making her lips look even more plumb than before. Her eyes don't have their sparkle anymore. As they have a big group hug, those eyes can't help but search for the girl they love looking at.

But that girl is listening to music in her bed, alone, with the door locked. It's something she has been doing ever since she fell apart with Momo. Normally, at this time, she would be playing games with her, dancing with her, watching a movie with her, and just enjoying only each other's company after hanging out with the girls for the whole day.

In conclusion, Dahyun misses Momo like crazy. That is why she feels like her heartbeat is the loudest thing in the world when she gets a notification from Chaeyoung, informing her that Momo is back. Dahyun is frozen, as she doesn't know if she should go downstairs to see her. She doesn't know what the other girl thinks of her anymore. She doesn't know how she should apologize.

She quickly gets out of bed and strides to the room's door. But she doesn't go downstairs, instead, she just unlocks the door, turns off the light, and hurries back to the bed. She hopes the older girl will come to their room, see Dahyun sleeping, and just leave again. Or maybe she wants Momo to sleep beside her again? Either way, she gets into bed and pretends to be asleep.

"Now that I've told you where I've been, what I've been doing, if I've talked to anyone, and if I'm ready for the performance tomorrow, can I finally go to my room? I'm tired."

"Fine, go. We will talk again tomorrow, Hirai Momo!" Nayeon replies, flashing Momo a teasing grin, at which Momo rolls her eyes before getting up from the couch.

First, she goes to the bathroom to wash up. She takes a quick shower, dries her hair, brushes her teeth, and leaves the bathroom with just a towel covering her body, since she forgot to get a new set of clothes first.

Then, she quietly opens the door to her bedroom even though she's not sure if she wants to see Dahyun just yet. One side of her is craving the younger girl while the other side just wants to be angry with her for a little longer. The words Dahyun said have been engraved in Momo's brain for the last four days.

Still, she gathers up all the courage and steps inside. She barely sees Dahyun laying in bed with the help of the streetlights shining through the windows. Momo closes the door behind her, then tiptoes to the wardrobe, getting her pajamas. She slowly changes into them while peeking at Dahyun once in a while to see if she woke her up.

Finally, she puts her phone on the nightstand and crawls into Dahyun's side of the bed. Dahyun's side, because the girl is sleeping on Momo's side, making Momo wonder if she accidentally rolled over there or if it's on purpose.

What Momo doesn't know is that Dahyun is wide awake. She has been waiting for this moment. Momo, in bed with her, after four days of not seeing her. She wants to do something to show the older one that she's sorry, but she doesn't know what. She doesn't have a single idea on how she should tackle the situation. In frustration, she flips around to the other side, totally forgetting that she's supposed to be playing asleep.

Their eyes meet. The moonlight shines in on them, letting them study each other's faces again after being apart.

"Momo," Dahyun says, barely audible.

"Dahyuni," Momo says, almost quieter than the other girl.

Not a single word comes to Dahyun's mind as she stares into the older one's eyes. She gets lost in them. And sometimes, when you're lost, you just have to take the first path you find. That's why Dahyun quickly leans in, leaving a soft peck on Momo's lips, then staying close to the older one's face with her eyes closed.

Momo doesn't move an inch. She only keeps gazing at Dahyun as the girl continues leaving innocent little pecks on her lips. But when she feels Dahyun's hands going under her shirt, gently massaging her waist, Momo tries her best to not let give in so quickly, especially not to a move like this.

The younger one's pecks keep getting faster and needier as they're waiting to get accepted from their owner. Momo is able to somewhat feel the younger one's apologies in those kisses. And even though she didn't want to get convinced this easily, she gives in. She grabs Dahyun's wrists, holding them up above the younger one's head while getting on top of her.

That surprises Dahyun and makes her let out a small gasp. But the gasp gets cut off halfway when she feels Momo's lips on her own. They capture each other's lips again after a long time, moving slowly and carefully as if they'll break with a wrong move.

At this point, every irrelevant feeling towards each other has faded away, leaving only desperation, affection, and love between them.
