Momo is zoning out. The group has gathered around a table to discuss which of three poses would be best for the ending, but Momo is too tired from the past few days to pay attention. She only manages to pick up on a few bits of it, but the majority of it is useless.
Instead, her eyes are fixed on Dahyun, who proudly explains that Momo is good at making choreographies and that's why she should be the one choosing, but Momo isn't really listening. She is hung up on how much dark brown hair suits Dahyun and how her cheeks tint a light shade of red. She finds Dahyun so cool, she would stare at her all day if she could.
Dahyun keeps talking, but Momo doesn't notice until the younger one asks her a question.
"Huh?" Momo says, returning back from her thoughts.
"Would that be alright with you?" Dahyun asks.
"Oh! Yeah! Without a doubt." Despite the fact that Momo has absolutely no idea what she is agreeing to, she smiles.
Dahyun nods as she places a hand on Momo's shoulder. "All right, then it's decided. We will do the second pose."
Everyone eventually dismisses themselves to their rooms, but Dahyun invites Momo to sit on the couch while she prepares some snacks for them. Momo feels a little guilty for not paying attention to anything about the pose, but she figures she'll ask Dahyun about it later. She is just too tired at the moment.
She sits on the couch with her hands buried between her thighs, waiting for Dahyun to return. But when she starts feeling how sore her legs are and how she can barely sit up straight due to the pain in her shoulders, her eyes suddenly begin to water. Momo can't handle such things. Tears unintentionally begin streaming down her cheeks. Crying is the only way she has ever really managed to relieve stress.
"Unnie?" Dahyun's voice snaps Momo out of her trance. She returns to the living room, four bowls of snacks stacked on her arms that look like they might fall any second. "Are you all right?"
"Too lazy to bring them one by one, huh?" Momo says jokingly through tears.
"Work smarter, not harder. But what's wrong?" Dahyun puts the bowls on the table, sitting down next to Momo.
Momo wipes her tears and tries to calm herself before looking at Dahyun. She blushes a little as she stares at the younger one's waist that the crop-top is not covering. Momo thinks it looks nice, but Dahyun is the one quickly averting her eyes when she notices Momo staring. The walls become very attractive all of a sudden.
"I'm fine, I'm just a little tired," Momo eventually says, her voice trembling.
However, Dahyun isn't convinced. She reaches for Momo's tense hands, holding them gently. "Are you sure? You know you can talk to me about anything, right?"
Momo's cheeks begin to flush. She can't recall Dahyun ever being so affectionate. She finds it pleasant. Her eyes are focused on their hands touching. Even tiny gestures like these give her butterflies. Dahyun just has an effect on her.
"Yeah, I know," Momo says.
"Alright then," Dahyun responds, still not buying it. "Let me know if you need anything."
Momo is disappointed when Dahyun lets go of her hands and stands up to grab a book from the bookshelf. She knows that Dahyun probably wants to read in silence now, but she feels really guilty about lying and keeping secrets from the girl.
"I just didn't really pay attention to anything at the conference," Momo says, making Dahyun look up from her book. "I'm sorry. I'm just so drained."
Momo braces herself for complaints, since she's sure that Dahyun is sick of this happening so often, but she doesn't get any. Instead, Dahyun places a hand on hers and looks at her sweetly.
