"Do you like leaves?" Tanong niya sa dalaga ng lapitan niya ito na payapang nagduduyan.

Kumunot ang noo nito sa pagtataka.

"Hindi." Sagot nito kalaunan.

Napatango siya at binigay ang bagay na kanina pa niya hawak sa likuran niya.

"Here. Flowers for you since you don't fancy leaves." He said with a small smile on his lips.

Kahit nagulat ito sa asta niya ay tinanggap iyon ng dalaga at inamoy. Nakita niya ang pamumula ng pisngi nito.

"S-salamat."

Oh. Alam naman pala nito kung paano mahiya kung papaano? She look so conscious and demure right now. Sobrang layo sa boyish na warfreak at obsessed na Denise.

Napairap ito ng makita ang reaction niya.

"I know what you're thinking right now, Helix. Bakit? Bawal na ba akong magpabebe?" Pagtataray nito sabay amoy sa bulaklak.

He sighed and shook his head.

Nagyaya ng umalis ang dalaga. Hinawakan nito ang kamay niya habang pabalik sila ng bahay. She was humming happily. Maaliwalas ang mukha nito, she looks so dainty on her dress, too. She looks like a demure woman who can't even break a plate but she's the same woman who crazily point a gun at him and even hit his head using the gun.

Crazy woman.

"What will you do if we reached the city?" Biglang tanong ng dalaga sa kanya.

Napaisip siya sa sinabi nito. He was so focus on how should the hell he would get out on this island and he forgot to think about what he'll gonna do after escaping.

"Nothing to think? Don't worry, your family got your back." Ngiti nito saka nauna ng pumasok sa loob.

After dinner, kumunot ang noo niya ng hindi niya mahagilap ang dalaga. Sa silid nila ay wala ito, kahit sa sala at kusina wala. Kanina pa siya palibot-libot pero walang bakas nito.

It so impossible she would left, right? Wala rin siyang narinig ng pagdaong ng ano mang sasakyang pangdagat o himpapawid. But she can't be outside because its dark already.

Tinahak ng mga paa niya ang daan papuntang garden. Kumunot ang noo niya at akmang magsasalita ng barumbado ng narinig niya ang malalim nitong paghinga.

"Demise!" He called her and immediately approached her.

Napasinghap siya ng puno ng pantal-pantal ay namumula ang mga bahagi ng katawan nito at nahihirapang huminga.

"H-helix..." She gasped for more air to breathe.

"Denise, what the fuck was happening?" Nag-aalalang tanong niya at kinarga ito papasok ng bahay.

A tear escaped from her eyes. She's experiencing allergic attack.

"Ano bang kinain mo?" Seryosong tanong niya at nilapag ito ng kama.

Agad siyang tumungo sa banyo at humanap mg medicina. There's an ointment for and tablet to ease what has been feeling.

Agad siyang lumapit dito, she put the tabet on her mouth and give her water from the water bottle on the side table.

Doon na siya nakahinga ng maluwag ng mainom na nito ang gamot.

"Y-you wanted to kill me, don't you?"

Kumunot ang noo niya ng husto.

"What?"

"I'm allergic, Helix. For sure you dis find that out to put me in a situation like this."

The fuck. He's not that heartless.

"Saan ka allergic?" Seryosong tanong niya habang nilalagyan ng ointment ang katawan nitong may pantal-pantal.

She's so weak right now. Walang kayang manlaban o gumawa ng kahit na ano.

"P-pollen. I'm allergic to the flower you gave me." Sagot nito, nanghihina pa rin.

Mahina siyang napamura.

"At enjoy na enjoy ka pa sa paglanghap kanina! It could put your health at risk, Denise! Damn it." Inis na asil niya.

Alam naman nitong allergic ito why did she still receive it like she doesn't have allergy at all?

"T-that's the first time you gave me flowers, Helix."

Natigilan siya sa sagot nito. Kumunot ang noo niya.

"You're my close friend, Denise. Kahit sa debut mo hindi kita nabigyan?" Mapaklang tanong niya.

Mapait itong napangiti.

"You were my escort back then."

"Oh, ganoon naman pala---"

"But, you didn't come to my party." Agad na putol nito.

Hindi siya nakaimik.

How come he didn't? She's his close friend? How can he forget---oh. That's because he's with his cousins. That day is the first day they tried to get drunk at EAI bar. Nakalimutan talaga niya iyon.

"Sorry. How about prom? Of course, I danced with you---"

"You...you are busy making out with the prom queen who later on dump you because you're such a lousy kisser." Denise smirked but bitterness and pain is visible on her eyes.

"You like me since them?" He asked her.

Napatitig sa kanya ang dalaga saka dahan-dahang tumango.

"I had love you since then, Helix. That's why it so hurt that you just easily forget when you're at your best when I was literally with you at your worst. It pain so much, Helix." Her voice trembled.

The pain on her voice reflects on his chest. Kumirot bigla ang dibdib niya sa sinabi nito. He's really an asshole and probably doesn't deserve her.

Akmang magsasalita siya ng tumunog ang cellphone nito sa ilalim ng unan. Denise stared at her, mukhang nalaman nito ang posibilidad na gagawin niya.

He could get the phone and call his family to save him. She's still weak and she can't do anything about it.

"You've been so sweet to me the yesterday and earlier, Helix. You really want to get rid of me, huh?" Mapaklang saad ng dalaga at kinuha nito ang cellphone sa ilalim ng unan.

"What?" How did she know?

"You really wanted to get rid of me so bad that you become extra sweet even tho you're disgust with me. Thank for that wonderful experience tho." Denise said and her phone started ringing.

Sinagot nito ang tawag.

"We're in Denis Flandez' private island. Helix is here, get him." Sagot ni Denise sa tawag at pinatay iyon.

Gulat na napatingin siya dito. Lumingon ang dalaga sa kanya.

"Wait in the shore. They will come in any minute." Saad nito at saka tumayo at tumungo sa banyo.

What the fuck just happened?

She abducted him. She's obsessed and now he finds everyway to turn her off but why the fuck when he tried to turn her off but it was actually him who's starting to turned on?

Damn it. He really needs to go home.
