I thought it would be a great idea to offer her to go out with me, just like a real date! I know that her biggest fear now is that someone will snoop into her privacy and given what is happening between us, I absolutely don't want her to feel threatened by prying eyes ... So I arranged a date outside of restaurants and people in general: just me and her!
There isn't much here in Palm Springs and I had to do a little bit of engineering ... But when they took me for a photoshoot early this morning at Keys View, I decided I should go back with Jo!
"Wait here ..." I get out of the car and rush to the restaurant I called earlier on the phone, in a break between a change of clothes and the other ... Jo looks at me amused and for now she hasn't asked many questions, surely she must be wondering if I went crazy all of a sudden! A little bit yes, actually ... I'm crazy about her and I'd do anything to see her smile!
I push the door and the sound of some little bells announces my entry into the restaurant...
"Good morning ..." I turn to a girl behind the counter.
"Hi, tell me ..."
"I've booked a take-out lunch for two for Tiffin ..." I smile at her
"Oh yes, of course... I'm going to get you the bags! Everything is ready, as you requested!" she walks away to the back of the restaurant and I look around in the meantime...
This place is really nice, if lunch today is as good as I hope, I could go back with Jo one evening... Maybe asking for a table a little less in view of these which are right in front of the windows towards the street ... At the back there is also a green area with a swimming pool!
"Here you are ..." she hands me three bags that give off a fantastic scent as I pay and thank the girl...
"I wish you a good day!" she smiles at me and I push the exit door to go back to Jo.
I open the door of the rear seats and arrange the bags under the watchful eye of a curious girl...
"The scent is excellent ..." she smiles as I return to take my seat at the wheel.
"I would say yes..." I reach out to kiss her on the lips.
"So let's have a picnic?" she asks looking at me.
"Just you and me, remember?" I start the engine and continue following the signs for Keys View... I doubt she has ever been there, as she told me that since she has been in Los Angeles she has not explored much around and here we are at least 2 hours away from her home...
"So I can't know where we're going?" she leans back looking at me intently "Not even a clue?"
"Sure! We are going to a place where we will be completely alone..." I smile "Is that enough?"
"I would say yes..." she sighs happily
It takes a while to get there, given the not-so-good road as soon as we leave Palm Springs but the view that the landscape gives us is unique!
