"Jo, wait!" 

I hear Hero quickly approach me and take my hand as I am walking down the corridor towards my room.
Surprised by his reaction, I turn towards him and look at him in curiosity.

"What are you doing?" I whisper looking around.

He moves closer to my ear whispering and leaving me with endless discharges of shivers.

"Come to my room!"

"We can't!" I shell my eyes.
Has he gone mad?

"There's no one, they're all in there!" he points to the room where the other boys have gathered.
"I don't know if we'll get another chance to talk alone!"

I bite my lip, trying to figure out what to do.
It doesn't seem like a very sensible move now that we're all on the same floor of the hotel and earlier Carter caught us staring at each other intently.

We weren't doing anything wrong, but no one can know we're together!
Jamie made it clear!
We can't make any missteps now!

"You're overthinking it!" He smiles, squeezing my hand "Come with me!" 

I get carried away by his idea.
After all, what can happen?
As soon as we pass the arcade again though the door swings open and Chance and Kiana come out laughing.
They don't seem to have noticed us right away, so Hero lets go of my hand and keeps walking while pretending nothing happened!

"Ah Jo, you're back!" Kiana smiles at me and Chance turns to look at me. 

Hero is already further down the corridor.
He's walking with his hands in his pockets, not looking back.
I can still catch up.

"Yes, I... I left the room key in here!" I point to the hall "I went back to find it!"

"Isn't that it?" Chance points to my pocket.
I follow his gaze and see the key card poking out of the pocket of my jeans.
Perfect! 

"Oh my God it is!" I close my eyes pretending to be really careless "I've been locked in a room too many days, I'm still feeling a bit disoriented!"

The truth is, I was already imagining myself in the room with Hero, with my arms around his neck as we kissed passionately!

"I'll see you in a bit then!" I turn around and walk back to my room.

"We'll start the game again in twenty minutes, okay?" I turn to Chance who has stayed with Kiana to chat.
I nod and continue walking.
My room really is at the other end of the world!

I want to turn around and go to Hero, but now there are too many people in this corridor!
Luckily we weren't caught holding hands on our way to his room!
How would I have justified myself?
We have to study our moves well, otherwise the risk of being caught is very high!

I sigh, open the door to my room and quickly close it behind me.
There will be a solution to all this!
There must be!

My mobile vibrates in my pocket as I take off my shoes.
I really need a moment of relaxation.
Too much information all at once, too many emotions.
I have to put my head in order.

I look at the screen.
