Chapter 15

Hero

We made love.

Against all expectations, the day went much better than expected.

I almost couldn't believe it! I was hoping she would listen to me, I was terrified that she didn't even want to see me and for a moment it seemed that way, especially when I saw her running away from me.Then I don't know what happened, all I know is that we can't stay away from each other.

"Good morning..." she whispers raising her head towards me and opening her eyes as I stand here staring at her for I don't know how long.

"Hey..." I gently stroke her hair as she stretches and moans at the same time "Good morning..." I place a kiss on her forehead.A wonderful smile appears on her smile that automatically makes me smile too.

"How long did we sleep?" She asks turning to the bedside table in search of her mobile phone.

"I have no idea..." I laugh "But it still seems to be sunny outside, it shouldn't be this late."

She picks up her mobile phone pulling away from me for a moment and I already miss her terribly, especially when the sheet slides off uncovering her breasts.
I almost have a heart attack!
As if I had never seen it before, my consciousness repeats.
Each time is like the first!

"Fuck!" She turns to me "It's 4pm" and bursts out laughing.

I look at her, widening my eyes "What?"

"We slept all morning!!!"

"And half the afternoon!!!" I add.

"I have 10 missed calls from Mia and as many messages." She slides her finger across the display at which point I pick up the phone too.

"I win!" I burst out laughing.

She looks at me interjected, not understanding what I'm referring to.

"I have 5 missed calls from Felix, 3 from Alex, 7 from Jamie and 3 from Morgz!" I list the long list I see on the display "As well as 10 various messages!"

We look at each other laughing "They'll want to kill us!" We say together.

"Who cares... I'll text them that we're fine!" I start typing the message.

"Wait!" She grabs my wrist with her hand and looks at me worriedly "Do you think it's a good idea to let everyone know that..."

"That we slept together?" I finish the sentence for her "Never mind telling them that, it's our thing!" I reassure her by pulling her closer to me again to give her a kiss.
"I'm just texting them that we're fine and we'll catch up with them. I assume they're at Coachella again, they wanted to have dinner there!"

Jo nods, slightly relieved but not entirely quiet."Let's keep it a secret, if that's what you want." I tell her, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Really, I want you to be okay!"

"I know I'm being repetitive..." She brings her hands to her face as if to hide "But after this week together, how are we going to do it? It's terrible being apart..."

"I know..." I take a deep breath "we'll find a way!"

"We won't start shooting After 3 and 4 for a few months..." She looks nervously at her hands.

"I probably have a film to shoot in a few weeks, they need to let me know exactly when..."

Her eyes light up "Me too!" she exclaims.

"Yeah? Which one?"

"It's called Moxie! Filming has already started actually but they interrupted everything because of the coronavirus! They're going to resume it soon, in Los Angeles" She smiles at me.

"I'll be in Canada, but it's a week at most. I have a minor role in a drama."

She hugs me tightly "You could stay here, instead of going back to London!" in her gaze I read hope "It would be more comfortable!" She hastens to add making me smile.

"Sounds like a very practical solution to me, Miss Langford!" I start tickling myself as she writhes with laughter.

We find ourselves lying on top of each other laughing, it really feels like time hasn't passed and there's the same chemistry as when we were constantly together to shoot After.

"Now let's get up and go find our friends!" I give her a kiss on the lips as she continues to laugh breathlessly.

"Do we have to?"

I look at her trying to figure out if she is serious or not "Do you want to be locked in here all day?"

"Might be an idea!" she pulls me to her side causing me to collapse on her lips again "We have some catching up to do, Mr Hero Beauregard Faulkner Fiennes Tiffin!" She teases me.

"I see you remember all my beautiful names!" I tickle her again.

"Yes, but I think for convenience I'll call you from now on Jhon!"

"I like Jhon!" I kiss her "But Hero would be enough, you know? it's the shortest name"She nods as she smiles and tries to tickle me in turn.

"Let's go out and get some air and then tonight, if you still want me, I'll come and sleep over, okay?" I kiss her and she immediately reciprocates passionately "First though, I have to go to my room to get something to dress and something we'll definitely need later!" AKA condoms!!!I'm reminded of the fact that she's on the pill. I didn't know anything about it, but after all, why would she tell me?

"I'm on the pill anyway..."

"How come? if you don't mind me asking..." I sit up and she does the same thing.
She's beautiful as hell, especially now that she's naked in front of me.

"I was having an irregular cycle, with all the stress of late the doctor suggested I take it and I actually feel better now!"

"It has unexpected upsides..." I smile "Although I trust using a condom more, feeling you without any barrier is phenomenal, really!" I caress her cheek and she smiles lowering her gaze.

"Let's go, your clothes must be dry by now!" she gets up and runs to the bathroom before I can stop her.

"Get dressed, if I come in there and see you naked again, we won't go out anymore!!!" I shout laughing.

"Naked like... like this?" she appears laughing in the doorway.

"No fair!" I close my eyes and bring a hand to my face "Move! You are incorrect!!!"

"Okay, okay..."

I open my eyes and she has returned to the bathroom, leaving my clothes on the bed, thankfully dry.I quickly get dressed and get ready to leave.

"I'm going to my room. I'll meet you in the lobby in a bit?" I tell her from behind the bathroom door."Alright." she opens the door slightly "I'll take a shower..."

"Okay, tell me no more, please!" I smile "How do we deal with our friends?"

"In what way?"

"What do you want me to tell them? They'll know by now that we stayed together tonight... they'll imagine it..." I say.

"You want to tell them that... I mean that you and I..."

"No!" I immediately stop her smiling "I'm not going to tell them anything about our things, I want to know if I can tell them that we made up!"

"Ah ok! Yes, of course!"I give her a quick kiss and turn to leave as she closes the bathroom door.I suddenly have a doubt though.

"Jo?"She opens the door again and looks at me questioningly.

"Are we together again?" I smile.

"Nah... you're still on probation, Tiffin! Let's see how you act!" She laughs and sticks her tongue out at me.

I walk out of her room laughing to myself.

God how I love this woman!
