What could be better after a day spent in the cold and frost, with the wind in your face, than taking a nice hot shower and then slipping into a warm fleece costume?

What am I talking about?
No, I haven't gone crazy!
I'm talking about my Halloween costume.

I'm a big, pink, beautiful, fluffy little pig.
This fleece is the warmest thing I found inside the dressing room full of clothes when I went with Hero a few hours ago.

He's already at the party, we didn't want to spoil the surprise and were split up for a few hours.
I'm curious to see which costume he's chosen and I really hope he hasn't succumbed to the idea of going out in his tracksuit to play football!
It's ridiculously cold, even though the radiators are always on and he doesn't even seem to mind!

I sigh as I zip up with some difficulty and look at myself in the mirror adjusting the headband around my head with two fantastic piggy ears.
I love it!

I really want to see the look on other people's faces when they see me!
The prize for the best dress will definitely be mine!I have competition in my DNA, don't hold it against me!
It makes everything so much more interesting! also because, if I'm really honest, I'm so sleepy I could fall asleep standing up like a horse right now.
I want nothing more than to sleep.
Sleep in Hero's arms possibly, but sleep anyway!

I look at the time on my phone and I have to hurry! I am already late, as always!
I'll make a grand entrance in style!
This costume is quite bulky and the biggest difficulty is getting out of the door of my room.

I check I've got everything by carefully feeling the inside pockets of the costume (I know, it's brilliant!) and close the door behind me.
There is no one in the corridor and I sneak towards the hall where everyone else has already gathered.
It's supposed to be an intimate party, just us in the cast, so as to ward off any possible contagion.
To be on the safe side, we did a covid test again this morning and luckily we all came back negative! For now, it's a welcome relief amidst all the chaos around here.

"I can't believe it!" Chance is the first to notice my costume as soon as I enter the room and I can't hide a satisfied smile.

Everyone else turns to me in disbelief and for a moment I stare at them without saying a word. Did I fuck up?
They are dressed as cowboys, secret agents, Indians... and Peaky Blinders?

I look at Hero with amusement, I would never have expected it from him, also because I doubt that he has ever seen that TV series, but I must admit that this outfit suits him very well!
Of course, what's wrong with him?
He could be so cool even with a sack of potatoes on, let's be honest!
But he's so fucking cool dressed like that! He even has a walking stick, which obviously has nothing to do with the character and this shows me that he hasn't seen the series at all!

"Did you two get along?!?" Chance continues to look at me in disbelief interrupting the flood of my thoughts.

I tear my gaze away from Hero who is watching me in amusement and focus on my friend who is circling me like I'm an animal in a zoo.

"What do you mean?" What exactly is he referring to?

"You and Farmer Hartur over there!" he bursts out laughing and confused I follow his gaze.

"Hero?!? I thought he was dressed as Peaky Blinders!" I exclaim in surprise, alternating my gaze between him and Hero.

"Don't listen to him, I'm clearly a Peaky Blinders!" the jabbering person joins us along with the others who watch me amused.

"Jo you are amazing! I knew you would surprise us all!" Castille smiles warmly at me and hands me a glass with I don't know what in it.

"It's champagne!" Whispers Hero seeing my puzzled face.
He raises his glass and clashes it with mine gently.
