The city of Sofia has been immersed in a storm with lightning and strong winds since last night when I arrived at the hotel.
It was already late at night, given the plane's delay and the endless amount of time it took me to get my bags from the luggage room.

I am tired, sleepy and this morning I have my first video call with Castille, our director.

They confirmed that I will have to do five days of quarantine.
They are nothing compared to the 14 that Jo is forced to do, but they explained to me that they cannot do otherwise.
Those are the rules.

I also asked about future rooms but they couldn't give me any information.
I know perfectly well that they have already arranged everything because Jamie has been informed that our rooms are very far apart.

Evidently they don't want to tell me!
I also noticed several bodyguards scattered all over the ground floor of the hotel and also on the first floor where the quarantined rooms of the whole cast are.

It's probably a security measure to prevent some more enterprising fans from trying to get into the hotel to meet us.
I'm told they are preparing the 24th floor for our arrival, so for now we are all here, even those who have finished quarantine.

The room is big, well furnished and clean.
Five days will pass quickly and I will take the opportunity to read the script at my leisure.

I read something during the flight but I couldn't concentrate enough.
I look at the time. It's 8.00 a.m. and I can't resist any longer: I have to call Jo and let her know that I have finally arrived!
I miss her like the air!

I take my mobile phone from the bedside table and switch it on.
I left it charging all night because yesterday, after receiving I don't know how many notifications, it finally switched off!

I already know what is waiting for me.
In fact, as soon as I turn it on, an avalanche of messages invades the home screen.
Texts, whatsapp, missed calls, missed video calls, Instagram, Twitter!
Anything!

The thing is, they never seem to end.

I turn off the sound and put it on silent mode.
There is only one person now that I care to reach and her name is Josephine.

I can't do that as long as the notifications keep coming in because I can't get my phone to connect.
I huff and run a hand through my hair.
I'm tired, I would gladly go back to bed!

Just now they brought me breakfast but I'm not even hungry!
I look towards the French window and decide to let some sunshine into this room by moving the curtains.
Not that there's much of it, really.
It's raining non-stop and it's very dark out here.

Finally there seems to be a lull in the notifications on my mobile phone and I immediately take the opportunity to call Josephine.

The phone rings but nobody answers.
I look at the time on the clock again.
Is she still asleep?

The call cuts out and I take a deep breath.
I'll try again in a little while!
I can't wait to tell her I've arrived!

I open WhatsApp just to remove that annoying little number that warns me how many messages I have received.
150! Not bad... I've had higher numbers!

Too bad she hardly ever replies to messages!
I know, it's stupid but I don't like texting someone.
If I have to talk to a person I just call them.
It's much easier and more direct!

My attention turns to the group that other After actors created a few days ago.
As many as 67 messages come from that group alone!
I open it out of curiosity.
It's a very long conversation between Carter, Chance, Castille, Kimberly and... Jo?
Jo hardly ever replies to messages, just like me.
